Standing corrected by one, who shall remain Nameless, I’m going to the hospital where the endoscopist will carefully record and examine every cm. on the way down and the way up, when he shoves the camera down my throat.  Winking smile  Wish me luck!  I hope I’m back in the saddle tomorrow.

  1. 6:30 this isn’t the year of the goat, but then, who wants to do a rat puzzle?

I hope everything goes very smoothly for you (unlike my day yesterday), and that you get home in good time and can get some rest.  And hi to WWWendy WW.

Mitch passed this on from Pam (C2) but can’t embed (He did link to it yesterday, and so did Freya,so you may  have seen it) so I volunteered. It is extremely well done, and more than worth the eight and a half minutes to watch it.

Cartoon – Glad they were not tried under today’s DOJ.

    • I am going to be late Wednesday due to a medical appointment, so here’s an

      ADDENDUM

This petition regarding disbarring Barrf is addressed to the licensing bodies of the state and the territory in which he is licensed – viz., Virginia and DC. That gives it teeth. Petitions to, for example, the American Bar Association are toothless because the ABA is a voluntary organization which anyone can join, and it does no vetting or licensing.

  2. Fingers-crossed for an uneventful endoscopy with results that will provide an easy solution.

I’m sure you’ll have a good rest during the procedure, thanks to Michael Jackson’s favorite med – Propofol.  (Thankfully it’ll be administered by a certified anesthetist!)

Sending you some good vibes and hoping for a quick endoscopic procedure, and with good results.
Take good care, get your rest, and Thanks, Tom.

*Mitch Thanks for your link, that was awesome!
**Joanne: Thanks for the video, great words/song.

  4. I don’t remember the Chicago Seven – that was before my time. Thanks for providing the history lesson.

That Founding Fathers “Day Democracy Died” video is all over the place now!

  5. Hope everything went well, dear friend, both during the examination and your trips getting there and back.

3:06 Since a feral one adopted me, I know goats are both the cutest and the most annoyingly strongwilled animals. Except for cats, of course.

Cartoon: A part of American history I’m not familiar with.

  6. Cartoon: Not familiar with it either.
Been praying that your test goes smoothly and that you had a safe to and from trip going there.
Hopefully they will find out what has been causing you so much pain and discomfort.
    Take care. Thanks TomCat

  7. Puddy Tat, here’s hoping that all went well today and the docs were able to find the cause of your body’s distress!  Rest and take care!

I am still without heat.  The tech was in today and I need a new motor for the exhaust fan.  They have ordered it and hopefully by the weekend I’ll have heat.  It can’t come too soon!  I did not sleep too well last night so I am off to bed now.  It just be that my little “huddled masses” are crowding in for warmth and disrupting my sleep.

    JD, love the video!

  8. Thanks and Hump Day Hugs to all.  I loved the video. 09

For those of you who are not familiar with the Chicago 7, they were people I knew, the seven public leaders of the demonstration at the 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago: Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, Dave Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis and John Froines.  Bobbie Seals was also in that group, but he bailed during the trial for a separate defence.  The Feds charges them with inciting a riot, but when the judge acquitted them, he said it was a police riot.  While were the public face of the demonstration, there were around twenty men and women, who actually did the work that made the demonstration happen.  I was one of those.
