It’s that time of week again, so here are four excellent video clips from Bill’s show last night, his last this year.  Enjoy!

Monologue: Burning Down the House

As well as he knows Trump, Bill has earned a degree in assholeology.

Garry Kasparov: Fight for Liberty

I remember when Kasparov defeated Deep Blue. He may be the only Russian that realizes Trump and his Republican Reich are a greater threat to freedom than Putin [R-RU].

Rep. Eric Swalwell

They made a really good point. Republicans have been trashing Nancy Pelosi for so long that folks are bored with it. I agree that we need to stop Trump aggressively.  No backing down.

New Rule: Just Don’t Go There

Even if we did stop talking about politics, the Republican Reich never will.

I’ll miss Bill for the next month and a half.

  1. Bill – Monologue – End of the Season – darn. (Good thing Sam has a Christmas Special.)

Swalwell – OK, I am not advocating this, but Bill is wrong. We CAN impeach. What we can’t do is get a CONVICTION. But we can and will get more investigating done. Also, whether or not we need two Dakotas, we are stuck with them.

Kasparov – It’s tough to learn anything when people don’t listen, though. (I listened to Overtime and loved that Bill asked him how many moves it would take to beat Trump in a game of chess, and he answered it couldn’t happen because when he plays, “we play by the rules.”

New Rules – He does have a point. But if he thinks it’s possible to get back to “what Facebook used to be about” he’s hallucinating. And not because of us, but because of people who are paid to keep it partisan.

  2. 1. Transition from medical marijuana to recreational marijuana….priceless. Love his quips. It’s illegal here in TX., except for the medicinal kind at the dispensary by your MD.

    2. Good interview. The repuglicons need to go, starting with dt.

    3. I’m all for the younger generation getting into the race. He sounds like a worthy candidate.

    4. I sure can’t talk politics around here, weather-worn, old red folks living here. It’s not an option for me. One neighbor shared with me, of how she met/knew Trump way back when in NY, and adores the ground he walks on. (ugh!) I just don’t go there either, Bill. lol

Sure will miss him for a spell too, Love Bill !!

  3. When I noticed two new articles for today after you said you were feeling so poorly yesterday, I had some hope you’d already overcome your flu, TomCat. But it turns out you’re even feeling worse. Please take that seriously and if you feel even worse, do get in touch with your doctor. There’s a nasty new flu strain going about here for which there’s no vaccine yet because it is well out of flu season (it’s nearly summer). Take no chances and don’t let it evolve into pneumonia which needs hospital treatment. Take all the rest you need, please.

Nevertheless, thank you very much for posting clips from Bill Maher’s last show of the season. We’ll watch it tonight. Now go to bed, please.

  4. I love Bill. I’m going to miss him for the next two months. Whatever will we do?

Thank you TomCat. Please rest and take care of yourself.

  5. Enjoyed Bill’s show last night. Sure going to miss him for two months. Thanks TomCat

  6. So Bill’s taking a break? Well, he probably needs it.

The interview with Kasparov was more than a bit unnerving. He nails tRump’s character (or lack of it) perfectly! What if the Cheat-oh did lose the 2020 election, and refused to leave? Then we’ll see who his real allies are.

Swalwell for POTUS? The list of people who would be worse than tRump is very short. But who’s going to agree on merging the Dakotas?

The problem with a lot of right-wingers is their heads are pretty far up their arses. Getting them to pull out is not easy, even if you talk about anything but politics. And they’ll probably bring up their Orange Ogre hero no matter what.
