One day to go.  It’s hard to imagine anything else I can say or do, except to harass people to vote, and I just got a text from my last friend, who hadn’t, that he has.  Wendy and I had a hard day yesterday, and I’m feeling extremely tired.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 4:51 (average 5:32).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Religious Agony:

1104-Broncos17-Texans19

I’m afraid I have to report Pat for Puddy Tat abuse.  Her team beat me up.  We missed the winning field goal, that was easily within range, on the last play of the game!  ARGH!

Short Takes:

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Georgia Democrats Respond To Brian Kemp’s Claim Of Attempted Voter Hack

With the Republican propensity for projection, you can be confident that Kemp, not Democrats, attempted the hack. Why else would he have intentionally left the system in GA vulnerable? RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

From YouTube (CNN Channel): Democrats hold advantage in final CNN midterm poll

Projections like this help stimulate enthusiasm, but only one person can make the projection real. YOU! RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

From The New Yorker: Backtracking from his earlier suggestion that the military should fire upon migrants if they throw rocks, Donald J. Trump said on Saturday that he was ordering the military to respond to rocks with either paper or scissors.

Speaking at a rally in Pensacola, Florida, Trump said that the decision about whether to use paper or scissors to retaliate against rocks would ultimately be left up to military commanders at the border.

“If rocks come flying at them, they should go ‘paper, scissors’ until they have an answer,” Trump said.

He issued a stern warning to the migrants approaching the border, telling them, “The United States military sees your rocks and is raising you paper or scissors.”

Dang Andy! Only Republicans are dumb enough to think scissors can beat rocks. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

  1. 6:38 Why is it called a slider turtle? (Or do I want to know?)

GA – WHAT A JERK !!! Apparently we will have a chance to see how corrupt the voters are in Georgia. !@#$%^&*(.

    CNN – Nothing to add.

TNY – Orange Judas may well be that stupid … but what he isn’t is that non-violent. Not straight news.

    Cartoon – Aaaaarrgghhhh!

  2. MSNBC: Kemp’s a sore loser and dangerous. Anything to throw a loop in the soup, he’s running scared. GO STACEY!!!

    CNN: Go Blue!!!

NYer: Shame it can’t be used for this, and for all wars, right, Andy?

I’m guessing that McManus felt pretty bad missing that 51 yd. field goal. What a nail biter that was! Actually, it was neck and neck the whole game, and y’all could of beat us if the goal went through the posts. Good game and playing on both sides. Get your rest, and enjoy the rest of your day, and take care, Tom.

*This just in: “Trump has cost taxpayers 73 million to play golf 123 days; but he told Veterans there would be more cuts to VA programs to save the Nation money.” ~ Claudia J. ~

  3. I’ve been stumping my buns off for Stacey Abrams, if I may brag: post cards, phone banking, mass texting (a lot of fun – lots of positive responses, but quite a few pr*cks!). I have also early-voted straight D, quite possibly for the first time in my life. Yes, a lot of Democrats are no prizes; but Republicans have degenerated into utter slime.

Non-whites trying to vote? That’s probably why that moral coward Brian Chump has been sitting on 53,000 voter applications. Apparently more than 2/3 of them were from African-Americans. If he wins, especially if he wins by a slim margin, I worry that there will be hell to pay.

Sure would like to know how throwing rocks is the same as shooting a gun. Can you imagine the Columbine shooters running through their school throwing rocks? Can you imagine the Virginia Tech gunman throwing rocks? Can you imagine the jerk in Las Vegas hurling rocks at the concert crowd? Or any other mass shooter? Sure, if you throw a big enough rock hard enough, it could kill somebody – but you can’t rapid-fire rocks the way you can bullets.

  4. One thing is for certain: Do not pay any attention to the polls saying that the Demos are ahead. You start thinking, “Hey, if the Demos are ahead, I don’t need to vote”

Wrong! Get out there and VOTE! Every VOTE matters and counts!

Remember, if you don’t vote, you are not allowed to complain.

  5. Found this. Thought you all would get a kick out of this. I do miss Obama as our beloved President!!

    • I saw this, actually a couple times.
Got choked up watching, and feeling the vibes and love from this man!
Dam, I sure do miss him!!!!

  6. It’s already November 6th here, and frankly I’m rather fed up with the endless accusations to-and-fro, the Republican campaigning lies and the never-ending stream of ?? tweets that come out of the White House, trying to influence the election to save his a$$ when people are on their way to the boots.

I think I’ll tune out for a day from all American election news, ignore exit polls and wait until most votes are counted. Unless a civil war breaks out in the meantime.

  7. MSNBC:  She expects something to “…get cleared up,” at a Dumpty rally?  What has she been smoking?
CNN: Much as I have devalued the validity of humans thinking they can predict the future, I hope this one is right?  we’ll see.  VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New Yorker: Dang Tom, only Republicans can think that Dumpty is going to make anything great…unless it is by leaving.
‘Toon: Can you imagine the unmitigated gall of “those people?”

  8. MSNBC: kEmp makes me think of the other idiot Joseph aRpaio. They both are so vicious. I pray that Stacey Abrams beats him royally.CNN: I’m certainly looking forward to the Democrats winning.NYer: Agree with Pat.Liked seeing the link that Jim posted. Sure miss Obama. Thanks Jim.I can hardly wait to take my ballot in tomorrow at the official polling place, two blocks from my house.Sorry the Broncos didn’t win.

  9. For my sanity (such as it is), since November 9, 2016 I’ve IGNORED all Polls.  I pass right over all the titles w/ Polls or 538 or w/e.

Doesn’t mean I won’t be glued to my TV tomorrow night – I will!

But that’s only because THAT is the ONLY “Poll” that counts!

  10. Puzzle — 4;07  No turtle soup for you Puddy Tat!!!

MSNBC — Just a tiny bit of projection from the Republican POS don’t you think!  For Pete’s sake, he has conflicts of interest up the wazoo, not to mention abysmal morals! . . . just like every other Republican.  Go Stacy!!!  Turn him inside out with a well deserved kick in the ass!

CNN — From CNN’s research to God’s hand!

    The New Yorker — LMAO!!!

Cartoon — Ain’t that a SOB!  YEE-HA!!!  Vote BLUE like your life depends on it . . . because it does!

  11. Thanks all.  Totally pooped hugs! 19
