Whether or not someone should be denied advancement for a drunken act committed as a teenager depends on whether or not they have taken responsibility for the behavior, addressed and corrected the character defects that made the abuse possible, and attempted to make amends. Since, Kavanaugh has not done these things, he is in denial, and the character defects he still has disqualify him.

Sam – Act I – Notice that Grassley says he’s forgotten stuff. But, you know, the attacker NEVER remembers the attack (and in many cases that’s because there have been too many to remember just one). But the victim NEVER FORGETS.
Act IIA – If you have a car or truck and you drive it on a road, you’re driving on socialism. If you ever attended a public school, you’ve been educated by socialism. If you or anyone you know receives Social Security payments (also known as, more appropriately, “the money the government BORROWED”), that’s socialism. It may be most obvious with Social Security, but in fact “the money the government BORROWED” is a good description of socialism in general. The government has responsibilities to us (like, “promote the general welfare” as the Constitution states), it borrows money from us in the form of taxes, and pays back that debt when it fulfills those responsibilities. How in the world that ever got confused with “hell on earth” is utterly beyond me.
Act IIB – There’s not even any need to speculate that single payer is cheaper than what we have (whatever that is). There are single payer systems in just about every developed country in the entire world except ours which PROVE single payer is cheaper.
Act III – We need progressive union people in politics at least as much as we need progressive veterans. And at least one reason is the same: they have the knowledge and experience to see through and challenge the bull shit.
Sam: On point! If Kava was this years ago, what’s he like now..?? “What happens in Georgetown Prep, stays at Georgetown Prep?? He’s got skeletons in his closet for sure. I don’t like the media (faux) calling Dr. Ford ‘accuser’ either. Her name is Dr. Ford.
