It’s that time of week again, so here are three excellent video clips from Sam’s show last night.  Enjoy!

Bad Boy Roundup: Manafort & Don Jr.

Sam sure knows her stuff on the Republican Reich! Can the US trade with Canada for her. They can have Cruz back.

Pregnancy Discrimination

In a Republican Reich an unborn child has right, not the thing carrying it. The rights of the unborn child are terminated immediately after birth.

Crashing Sean Spicer’s Book Tour

Shitty Spice’s book should be purchased only for use as toilet paper, and then, disinfect afterwards.

Sam was in fine form!

RESIST!!

VOTE BLUE!!

89 DAYS!!

  1. Sam – Act I – Lots of facts here embroidered with humor.

Act II – Interesting that they compared pregnancy with DUIs. It would seem more appropriate to me to compare pregnancy with an injury that would restrict a non-pregnant person to lifting not more than 20 pounds – if that’s the issue. It’s a woman’s doctor, NOT her employer, who is best qualified to know what she can safely do, and not do, at ANY time, not just in pregnancy. And, oh, yeah, that applies to men also.

Act III – Trust Sean Spicer could to give unicorns and rainbows a bad name. Not only a bad name, but a nauseating name!

    • I like the idea of wearing solid BLUE on election day.

Like it was yesterday, I can remember back in the 2006 November midterm election having an encounter w/ a “poll judge”.  It was a big election because it was the election when (Sen.) Claire McCaskill unseated incumbent Jim Talent AND “Amendment 2” was on the ballot.

Missouri Amendment 2 was in support of permitting stem cell research – and I was a strong activist in support.  (No surprise there.)  And I wore a t-shirt that only said “Missouri Cures” – no mention of stem cell OR Amendment 2 (well, on the back – but I was wearing a coat).  But the “judge” made me zip up my jacket so “Missouri Cures” wasn’t visible.

The irony is that at that time my polling place was in a Baptist church literally festooned w/ banners AGAINST Amendment 2 – all visible from the voting booths.  I pointed this out to the “judge” – but she just shrugged her shoulders.

In 2008 they moved our polling site from that church to a grade school literally next door.  I was much relieved!  But I did do my homework on what was permissible garments to wear to go vote at that critical 2008 election.  Wasn’t going to take any chances I would be denied the opportunity to vote for Barack Obama!

      • I’ve been an “election judge” in Colorado. and I’m sure churches are used, but I have only worked in schools (and one city hall) so have not faced anything like that.  The only time I remember clothing being an issue was in a VERY small town where the voter was the town taxi driver and also a practicing (damn near perfect, if you ask me) alcoholic.  The article of clothing was a cap, whivh we told him to take off; he did, and put it on a table facing entering voters.  We explained that was not acceptable, it had to be invisible (like, under his jacket,) and he stormed out in a rage to whine to the candidate (running for sheriff, no less) that we were iased.  His candidate was not my candidate, but he did explain the law and that we were just doing our jobs.  Hours later he returned sheepishly without the cap and voted.  It would have been funnier were it not for the cab driver still being the only cab driver in town.

It’s quite possible that your “poll judge” had called the election department for help and been denied, maybe even after first asking the church to take down the banners down.  That might even have been a big reason they moved the polling place in the very next even year.  Even Republicans were not quite as blatant then, and wanted to avoid the appearance of illegality, even if they were stuffing ballot boxes and throwing other ballots away right around he corner.

But i don’t think they can restrict just a color, even if a lot of people are wearing it.  And I would settle for some blue, or a blue print – and nothing red – just something so that if Orange Judas dares to suggest that Democrats had help from Russia and the votes weren’t real or aren’t accurate, there will be pictorial evidence of streets filled with people wearing blue.

  2. Bad Boy Roundup: ‘Head ’em up, move ’em out’ …..!!!

Pregnancy Discrimination: Hard to stomach that this is still going on…glad these moms-to-be are suing..

Crashing SS’s Book Tour: omg, this is hilarious. LOVED the unicorn! (looked hot for the two guys in there though. Good crash to the party, and people were taking pictures of the Unicorn. Priceless!!

  3. Donnie bringing down daddy-pad’s administration? Wouldn’t that be a delicious irony! The tRump regime is such a rolling dumpster fire, one thing or another is going to destroy it utterly.

If the so-called pro-lifers are doing nothing about pregnancy discrimination, they are hypocrites among hypocrites. UPS – really? Frankfort Police – really? Walmart – really? All the rest of you @$$holes – really? What kind of f—ed up country are we that forces women to carry unwanted pregnancies but won’t protect them in the workplace? All too often the Mommy Track is the road to poverty.

Getting a real answer from Spicer? You’ll see the Detroit Lions play the Cleveland Browns in the Super Bowl before that happens!

  4. Despite not having a good internet connection yet, I managed to watch these Sam ? clips for once. Thanks for posting, TomCat.

Sam ?: I don’t think Donny’s going to play any big role in his father’s campaign from now on, not after this scorching analysis, and his Drupf’s White House staff are keeping their eyes on little Donny in case he makes another boo boo. They perhaps can prevent little Donny from making it worse for his dad, but they can’t prevent dad from making it worse for himself, right?

Sam ??: Workers rights have been under attack from Republicans for some time now, but women workers have had to bear the brunt of it. As soon as a woman sets out to do what Republicans love her to do so much they leave her no other option through lack of sex education, birth control and increasingly the denial of an abortion, they make sure she’s forced to stop working keep her at the sink. Sam had a great perspective on this medieval practice.

Sam ???: After viewing this clip, I almost felt sorry for Sean Spicer. Note: almost. Of all the people come and gone during this administration, I’ve read Comey’s book which was both informative and a very good read. You wouldn’t normally expect the Director of the FBI to be a good writer, but you’d think it necessary for a WH press secretary to be able to write decently, wouldn’t you? The “unicorn riding a unicorn over the rainbow” is enough to convince me never to go near any of of Spicer’s writing. Good job on showing how pathetic Spicer really is, Sam.

  5. #1 — Doesn’t Sam do a wonderful job cooking Don Jr with side orders of Manafort and Bannon! . . . and despite the reek, does it all with humour!  And NO!!!  Cruz is still all yours! . . . and Sam is all ours!  We’ll add that into the new NAFTA agreement if we have to!

#2 — In this day and age,  the US is an outlier amongst industrialised nations when it comes to pregnancy and support for pregnant women.  I remember a poster from the UK in the late 60s of a young man in profile wearing a grey sweater and clearly 7-8 months pregnant.  If men could get pregnant, you know damn well that policies and attitudes would be much different!  Republicans want fodder for their war machine!

#3 — Spicer admitted to being paid to lie when he was still part of Diaper Don’s régime.  And look, he’s still doing it!  Unicorns riding unicorns???  Is he serious???  That’s one book I won’t be reading! . . . even under penalty of death!

  6. Thanks and overheated hugs! 01
