Little Donnie Diaper Dump is not happy. He does not think his poo stinks. Some terrible meanies were so evil, that they actually told the truth that it does. Little Donnie owns the national security sandbox (very temporarily we hope). Until then, little Donnie says he won’t let those meanies play with the toys there.
President Donald Trump is considering revoking the security clearances of former intelligence officials who have criticized him and have been the targets of some of his relentless attacks.
The officials include former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA and National Security Agency Director Michael Hayden, former national security adviser Susan Rice and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday.
Sanders was initially asked about Sen. Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) calls for Trump to remove Brennan’s security clearance. Paul claimed on Twitter that Brennan has been “monetizing his security clearance” by criticizing Trump.
“The president doesn’t like the fact that people are politicizing agencies and departments,” Sanders added later, despite the fact that Trump has repeatedly cast doubt on the work of U.S. intelligence agencies and officials and denigrated them.
She also claimed that the former officials have been “making baseless accusations of improper contact and accusing the president of the United States of treasonous activity,” appearing to refer to the investigation into the Trump presidential campaign’s ties to Russia…

The bottom line is that Trump is being incompetent and petty for threatening to take away what these people either no longer have or don’t need. None of them would be read into anything requiring a clearance as long as Trump is Fuhrer. Afterwards, any of them would be qualified for jobs where they would need it, and it would be granted in a hot minute.

“to take away what these people either no longer have or don’t need.” Exactly. When one leaves a job which requires clearance (and doesn’t immediately step into another job that needs it), that clearance goes away. I’ve been there and done that (military officers are required to maintain a Secret level clearance). Any knowledge a person acquired while holding that clearane does not immediately disengage from his or her brain, either (given enough time is another story.) Who’s going to tell him that Hillary held a Top Secret clearance once also? (No one, I hope.) Exactly as you say – both incompetent and petty.
I too, held a security clearance for a few years while in the Navy. What dt is doing is ridiculous, because he doesn’t like them or saying anything against what he’s thinking/doing. How asinine!
What a vile, vindictive, petty thing to do – sad that it’s so predictable for Twitler.
From a practical point of view, Comey and McCabe lost their clearance when they were ousted. And Clapper and Hayden have both said they don’t participate in the Intelligence Community any longer. So that only leaves Brennan and Rice as potential targeting victims.
But taking a look at Sarah Huckabee Sanders is where it gets entertaining:

Twitler has not only actively promoted his – and his daughter’s – properties and merchandise, but has profited directly from using the venues for official events as well as encouraging foreign leaders, politicians and lobbyists to use them. *sad*

There is no question whatsoever, no doubt whatsoever, that tRump is the worst leader this country has ever had. Ever. He makes Nixon look reliable and Harding look competent.

This is dumpy’s modus operandi, to threaten anyone who displeases him, and he makes it so easy for people to do that!
The fact that Drumpf wants to strip the security clearance from Comey and McCabe who already lost their clearances when they left the FBI is proof of Drumpf’s incompetence. That somebody in the régime did not remind him of that is proof of the incompetence within the régime.
