Because of the 13 original colonies, the number 13 is really quite an American patriotic symbol. 13 striped in the flag, In the national seas, the eagle has 13 arrows in one talon, and in the other, an olive branch with 13 olives and 13 leaves (look at the back of the dollar bill.) And other things, I forget what all, but if you start counting things in early American patriotic art, you’ll find more 13s.
I was so busy today I didn’t even know what special Friday it was until I noticed your post, TomCat. Boo to you too. Mine passed without major disruptions. With the exception of Drumpf’s second day in the UK, that is.
