It’s been a busy sweltering day here in the CatBox.  The heat wave appears to be long term with the coolest day in the next two weeks forecast at 87°.  Store to Door delivered groceries, and I put them away.  WWWendy is coming this evening.  Happy Hump Days to all!

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 4:46 (average 5:30).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Tales:

From YouTube (Late Show Channel): The Even More Disgraceful Trump Balloon

It looks like the Fuhrer. Every place he goes should make one! Are they also full of flatulence, like him? RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Nazi, White Nationalist Running As Republicans | All In | MSNBC

These Republicans are the ones most like Fuehrer Drumpfenfarten! RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

From The New Yorker: A Washington, D.C., man has won a nationwide essay contest on the topic “Why Donald J. Trump Shouldn’t Go to Prison.”

The man, Brett Kavanaugh, received his award for the winning essay at a ceremony at the White House on Monday night.

Kavanaugh’s essay, which was distributed to the press shortly after he was announced as the winner, reads as follows: “Donald J. Trump should never go to prison because he is the President of the United States and the President of the United States is a very important person in the country. It would look bad if visitors from foreign countries came to the United States and asked, ‘Where is your President?’ and we had to say, ‘He is in prison,’ which in my opinion is another reason Donald J. Trump should not go to prison. For these reasons, if I am ever in a position to keep Donald J. Trump from going to prison, I will do that (keep him from going to prison).”

I see Andy is back to straight news again. RESIST!! VOTE BLUE!!

  1. 7:24 I was hoping if I went slowly enough they might ripen.

Late Show – if it were as full of s*** as he is, it wouldn’t fly. I realize that’s not exactly what you said.

Chris – Is the one on the yacht the same one who crashed his?

TNY – Perhaps in the full article he mentioned that the person who was evaluating the essays was none other than Anthony Kennedy.

Cartoon – Don’t we, though. How much can we take?

  2. LSC: Hope Scotland has one too. He’s going (where else?) to one of his golf courses there. On Th/Fri, he’ll be in London. Wonder how Prime Minister Theresa May, and Queen Elizabeth II will fare? imho…I think both should call ‘in sick’, or be ‘nowhere to be found’.
MSNBC: Scary, indeed !!! Rethuglacons have no spine, therefore they won’t stop, or ‘draw the line’ on this either.
NYer: Oh yes! Pleeeeze!!! GO to prison!  LOL, Andy!
Cartoon: Chiseling a little very.single.day! ugh!!
Hi, WWWendy! Hope that you have a good evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.

  3. “That’s human??” LOL love it!!!
Protesters in the UK have rallied to make Green Day’s 2004 hit song “American Idiot” top the charts for trump’s visit to the UK !!!

  4. Late Show: Excellent!
MSNBC: Grossman is running in N.J.’s southernmost district (Gee, is there a pattern?), and is as much a pig as the rest of them.  I’m sorry that I don’t live in that district, as I will not have the chance to vote for his opponent…also because Cape May county is a great place for birding.  Dumpy’s presence on the national scene has given these guys the sense that they belong to the greater culture so much that they can speak out about their sick views.  Sadly, many to many supposed Americans seem to agree with their crap!
New Yorker: Written in true infantile style, befitting this clown!

  5. Thanks and very hot hugs to all! 21

  6. Somehow this got lost…

TLS: This Trump Baby blimp has been up in the air for weeks now, so to speak, but until now no permission was given to fly it.

Khan’s office said the “Mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands this can take many different forms.” London city officials previously turned down permission sought by the group behind the blimp, named “Trump Baby,” after more than 10,000 people signed a petition and contributed to a crowdfunding campaign to pay for it.
It will be anchored to a spot in Parliament Square Gardens and not allowed to fly higher than 100 feet. Big Ben, the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster across from Parliament Square Gardens, is 315 feet tall. (USA Today)

That’s not high at all, so there’s little chance Drumpf will actually see it, but the signal is clear: Drumpf, you’re not welcome in London.

MSNBC: The US is in trouble when one party in a two-party system is OK with racism, white supremacy, neo-nazism, misogyny, paedophile…and even more in trouble when the head of the party, the American President, stands for all of that. The country is in even more trouble when far, far less then half of the population is Republican, but Republicans rule as if they have the federal majority.

Worst of all, those voting Republicans think and behave very differently from their Democratic counterpart. They will vote for Drumpf and the GOP again as long as there’s one issue they agree with or let themselves be lied to so they can believe it. One issue is enough to forget about all the issues they don’t agree with or even despise. Democrats on the other hand, will not vote for a candidate if there’s only one issue they disagree with, no matter how passionate they might be on other issues. Republicans vote with their gut feeling, Democrats vote with their rational brain. Republican’s will never change and will vote Republican no matter what. Unless Democrats adopt the same strategy and this time vote Democrat no matter what and turn the tide in November, and will throw away the last opportunity to turn things around.

TNY: As I said yesterday, Andy:
