Finally!  A comfortable day!  I’m waiting for Store to Door to arrive with my grocery order.  They are running late.  When they arrive, I’ll break to unpack and stow.  (Done!)  This evening WWWendy comes to destink the TomCat, who id sufficiently rancid to make well needed.  I also have a couple hours of banking paperwork to complete.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 4:47 (average 6:32).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

From YouTube (MSNBC Channel): Disgraced Former Representative Blake Farenthold Gets Hired As A Lobbyist

Where have all the perverts gone? Long time passing. Where have all the perverts gone? Long time ago. Where have all the perverts gone? To the lobbies everyone! When will we ever learn? When will WE ever learn? RESIST!!

From USA Today: A senior North Korean official warned Wednesday that Pyongyang may cancel its summit meeting between Kim Jong Un and President Trump scheduled for June 12 in Singapore, if it is going to be pushed into giving up its nuclear arsenal.

If the Trump administration pressures Pyongyang to unilaterally abandon its nuclear weapons, North Korea would have to reconsider the summit, Vice Foreign Minister Kim Kye Gwan said in a statement carried by the official KCNA news agency.

I deal in that left North Korea with nuclear arms would reflect the standard Republican incompetence level, and leave Trump demanding the Nobel Peace Prize for moving the doomsday clock closer to midnight. RESIST!!

From The Oregonian: Oregon’s liberal Democrats notched key wins Tuesday in [State] legislative primaries that focused on such hot-button issues as housing affordability and the state’s public pension crisis.

With the Legislature likely to consider proposals on tax increases, public pension reform and greenhouse gas emissions next year, the constituencies that support and oppose those plans – businesses, public employee unions and environmentalists – poured money into certain primary contests.

The vote also set the stage in a couple of swing districts that are likely to be intensely contested in November’s general election, as Democrats attempt to win a supermajority and Republicans do their best to block them. Democrats need to pick up just one seat in the House and Senate to achieve the three-fifths supermajority necessary to pass bills raising revenue without Republican support.

Tuesday’s primaries included 16 seats up for grabs in the Senate, with five Democrats running unopposed. All 60 seats were up in the House, with seven Republicans and 24 Democrats running unopposed.

Oregon leads the way! We’re doing our job. How about your state? RESIST!!

  1. 6:28 Well, that’s astonishing. Guess I got the point – barely.

Bizarro World gets more bizarre every day! Gotta give credit to the cops, though. Story also picked up by Daily Kos.

MSNBC – Well, if it’s going to be like this, it’s at least a good thing that we live in a time when a MSM anchor can say “Congressman Duckyjams” without raising so much as one hair of an eyebrow. I guess.

USA – What was that old Goldwynism? “In two words – In. Sane.”

Oregonian – Kudos! Go for it!

Cartoon – Going to have to disagree here. He has not the brains, he has not the interest in semantics, he probably doesn’t know what semantics is, and he’s definitely not clever enough.

  2. MSNBC: Gawd. What an ID, and perv. How disgusting! ICK!

USA: Was going okay.., until the Repugs and Bolton opened his mouth…Anything that Bolton says or does turns to sheet for the country, in this case, N.Korea and it’s ongoing talks. “We do not hide our feeling of repugnance towards (Bolton),” Kim Kye Gwan said.

    Oregonian: SuhWeet!!!!! Awesome!!!

Cartoon: Yep. Sick. That’s his crude level of incompetence and utter disrespect to be in this office, he’s a horrible man. imho.

Hi Wendy! Glad you are having a good day, weather wise. We are in the 90’s today/rest of week. Enjoy your evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom.

  3. Looks as if the Blue Wave is gaining momentum. Now we need that to carry over not just into November, but well beyond that. And it needs to be for genuinely progressive Dems, not just the same old DINOs.

  4. In Greed We Trust – ain’t it the truth! However, Democrats had better not get smug, as many of them are the same.

I dare to maintain some optimism in the light of recent state election results. Keep up the Blue Wave, and make sure it is a tsunami in November!

  5. MSNBC: A dick is a dick is a dick, ducky!
USA Today: Incompetence, thy name is GOPIG!
    Oregonian: Kudos!!
TC: I’m glad you are having a good day…you deserve it!
‘Toon: A dick is a dick is a dick, period!

  6. $84,000 owed to the state & he has been advised by his attorneys ‘not to pay that’?!?!
Yet everyday decent Americans are thrown in jail for not paying a parking violation???
    W.T.F.?!?!?
BARF…. i’m not even going there with the toon!!

  7. Well, this post isn’t complete without a photo of disgraced Farenthold in his “Mr. Ducky Pajamas” with some evangelical minister friend of his – at least he claimed it was evangelical minister friend.

    She looks wholesome …

  8. MSNBC: Of course Blake Farenthold had no problem finding a well paying job as a lobbyist; he has all these great connections with men who do more or less the same as he does, but haven’t been found out yet, and who love to see some bribe…sorry, lobby coming their way. ‘Forget about the past, forget about the promise of repayment he made, every man deserves a second chance if he’s a Republican’, right?

USAT: First Drumpf violates the Iran nuclear deal, which on it’s own would be enough to reduce any trust in negotiating with America to zero, but Kim sends back three hostages as a sign of good faith. Then Bolton says it will be a full disarmament in Libyan style, a treaty that had Lybia’s leader Gaddafi toppled within days and cost him his life within weeks. And to top it all off, South Korea and the US didn’t postpone their annual show of strength and felt the need to hold the military exercise on the sea border of North Korea, even though they had shown all their military muscle just a few months ago in that region. Sorry, from here it looks like provocation; it looks like the US wants Pyongyang to cancel the summit meeting, so they can put the blame on Kim Jong-un. All bets are off again and start anew: Is it Iran or North Korea where Drumpf will start his war?

Oregonian: Under normal circumstances I’m never much in favor of absolute majorities, but in this Drumpf/GOP era I keep my fingers crossed Democrats will pick up that one seat in the House and Senate to achieve the three-fifths supermajority. If they do, I hope they use their power wisely, now and in the future.

Cartoon: I’m sure this one would be completely lost on Drumpf; he can neither read nor understand what it’s saying.

  9. Thanks all.  Fading fast hugs! 26
