I grew up watching Soviet military parades. Seeing thousands of troops goose-stepping and weapons of all kinds moving past inspired my awe and fear in my elementary school days. Russia still has them, and the troops all salute Vladimir Putin (R-RU). That makes Putin’s Piddle Pervert jealous. Fuhrer Drumpfenfarten wants to have lots of salutes directed at him, just like his Sugar Daddy.
A troubling Washington Post report reveals that President Donald Trump plans to have soldiers marching and tanks driving through Washington, D.C. in a "grand military parade."
“The marching orders were: I want a parade like the one in France,” a military official told the Post. “This is being worked at the highest levels of the military.”

o.m.G!!The cost of this, into the millions of dollars! No support (NONE) from this id to our military, domestic nor overseas. Like I mentioned in another post, why not have a Parade when he gets terminated from office as Potus?? I’ll not watch this, if it comes about either!!! What a f’king ID!!!

Drumpf doesn’t give a fig for USA’s military, he just likes to show off and have people salute him as the highest in command; and probably get bored and forget to salute back after a while. It’s all part of his Patriot branding; lots of flag waving and marching bands playing the anthem, and now lots of US military doing that AND saluting him, der Führer, il Duce, el Caudillo, самодержец…
When I first heard of Drump’s wish for a military parade, I thought WTF!!! Is he trying to imitate Putin and Kim Jong-Un? A parade would only assuage Drumpf’s ego, not the military!
The cost would be astronomical and there are better things to do with those funds. Let’s see — continuation of SNAP, Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare, CHIP . . . I won’t continue the list as you know better than me. And of course, the logistics of getting tanks etc ready to roll down Pennsylvania Avenue and then the repair of the roads etc . . . who will pay for that? . . . Drumpf’s non existent infrastructure plan?
