It’s supposed to be chilly here this week, I miss working out in the yard. Last time I saw them was in 69 when I was in the Navy. It was a wonderful evening, with family.

WP: For now, only the Israeli seem to fall for the US administration’s ploy. Abbas refused to meet with Pence and left the country to meet with EU leaders in Brussels while Pence was praising Drumpf to high heaven in Israel. Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, issued a statement in which she again underlined the EU’s backing of Palestinians:
The Palestinians now want the EU to play a major role in the peace-negotiations, stating that Drumpf has sidelined America by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Pence’s bootlicking has only made matters worse, but he needs Israel as an ally when he takes over after Drumpf is impeached.
SI Live: Scary, isn’t it. It’s the end of January, February usually being the coldest month with just above freezing day temperatures here and we’re expecting 13℃ (55.4℉) tomorrow. All my bulbs are above ground, even the tulips are showing and the snowdrops are in full bloom. Global warming?

WaPo — This will do nothing but stoke the flames of division in an area that already has enough division and violence. Talk about complicity! Drumpf and Republicans will be complicit in the deaths resulting from any and all violence because of this move.
