CMasPP

This year, once again, I wish you a very Merry Christmas, or whatever holiday is appropriate to your beliefs.  I have collected a few Christmas Songs for your enjoyment, and sadly, for the second time, a warning for the coming year.

Performed by Olivia Newton John

Performed by the Harry Simeone Choir

Performed by Martina McBride

Performed by Celtic Woman

And finally, Happy Holidays to our Republican visitors.  Here’s what you want most.

Finally, I must repeat this year’s warning for next year:

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name
that sat on him was Trump, and Hell followed with him.
And power was given unto them over the fourth part of
the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with
death, and with the beasts of the earth.

RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

  1. Well, alrighty, then, I’ve got a song too.

    And a greeting.

  2. Great Holiday tunes!
Can I get an ‘Amen’ on your dire warning?! You can from me! Amen!!!!!

*Joanne, loved the tune. Every word she sang, I’ve been thinking the same thing.
    Good RESIST song!!!

  3. Happy Holidays to all!

It’s Boxing day Down Under now and the commercial Boxing Day Sales madness has started in full force. So my Christmas feeling, the little I had anyway, was short-lived. May yours last a lot longer if you celebrate it.

  4. Love that song, Joanne! It’s a CLASSIC!!!
Hope you have a BEAUTIFUL and wondrous Christmas and happy, HAPPY New Year, TomCat!!!

  5. However you all celebrate December 25th, it is a federal Holiday in USA. Do enjoy the 25th in whatever manner you celebrate it. For those of you working on the 25th, I do know exactly how it feels as I have been there many times in the past. Hospitals are open 24-7 everyday as are many other jobs. Do enjoy your 25th as best as you can with Family & Friends.

TC: Your “warning” is not so much as a warning, it is the continuous reality that we are all being subjected to these days. sigh…

Here is Joanne above in PP to help understand what we all need and want to save our country from Trump & the GOP. Joanne found this gem of a current & contemporary carol. Have a listen. I liked it so much that I decided to forward the YouTube link to friends.

Impeachment Carol’Mueller Baby’ A very contemporary & festive Carol. Excellent Voice and it is (subtitled). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVTDDaANA4c&feature=youtu.be

  6. Great music!
    Happy, happy!

  7. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you!

  8. Merry Christmas – Joyeux Noël to all from this Canuck.

In Chinese, phonetically these words are Sin Dan Fi Lok.  And in Farsi (Persian) they are Christmas Mobarak.

Isn’t it interesting that Christmas, Chanukah and Diwali are all celebrations involving light.  Ramadan for the Muslim world is a time of fasting, prayer and doing good for others (light).

Whatever your tradition, may you have a peaceful Happy Holidays.

And as Jim has reminded us, let us not forget those that work on Christmas when others are with their families — doctors, nurses, care aides, firefighters, police and others.  Yesterday (Christmas Day), I took some cookies to the staff of the 7/11 store I frequent and had a chin wag with the clerks after they served the continuous, it seemed, stream of customers.

    Happy Holidays!

PS — Thanks for the vids and music TC!

    • And Kwanzaa uses candles (though it is much newer.)  It’s not really surprising.  At a time when we have been getting less light every day for six months, what could be seen as more valuable than light, and what could be more joyous to celebrate than the fact that we will be getting more of it?  Disgusting misogynists though they were, Jones and Schmidt got that right in “Celebration.”

  9. Thanks all.  Leftover hugs! 25
