Here are the results of our β€œThanksgiving Dinner” poll.  Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories.   Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population.  Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking of the majority of those who actually do think.

Like most of you, I voted for and had Turkey bird.  Now I intended to have dawg, but someone got to it before I could.  I suspect that the Sasquatch cooked my dawg and shared it with her own kitties, without saving any for me!  Sad smile

The new poll is up.  Don’t forget to vote.  A friend left this message: Ho! Ho!! Ho!!!

  1. Had to vote for sooooo naughty, as nothing else looked like fun?

  2. Well, I made a crockpot with a package of chicken breasts and a bottle of pomegranate-raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing, and I had some on Thursday with mashed potatoes and packed some up with brown rice for Friday and Saturday, and of course still have leftovers.  So that worked well for me.  And I gather your organic turkey worked well for you too.

Once again I have an issue with the Christmas poll, and will have to work it out in my head before I can answer.

  3. Our meal went well, and there were plenty of dishes. My favorite was the candied yams, in a sauce w/pecans in it. The twice baked potatoes were delicious, as were the salads. (3 bean, and fruits). No leftovers! πŸ˜‰
I still ate too much, and wanted to take a nap afterwards. Fun Day!

  4. No Thanksgiving for me, so I skipped this poll. Santa hasn’t found me in Oz yet, so I don’t expect any presents. Fighting hard to keep Ardani from opening Australia’s largest coal mine in Queensland, I’d be very annoyed if Santa would give me coal no matter how bad I’ve been.

  5. The buffet my aunt treated Mom and me to was wonderful!  And we all opted for the prime rib!  It was delicious!

They had lox – but no bagels, so I passed.  But boy it made me hungry for some, and so I bought lox & bagels this Monday and had it for lunch three days in a row.  YUM!

  6. Thanks all.  Hugs! 17
