Here is the one hundred second article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. Today’s honoree is Republican Senate Majority Leader Bought Bitch Mitch McConnell. He is so honored for willingness to protect his Fuhrer and his Reich from the criminal justice they deserve by refusing to move ahead with legislation to protect the Mueller Investigation.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) shrugged off concerns that Congress should safeguard against a constitutional crisis by passing legislation to protect special counsel Robert Mueller from being fired by the White House he is tasked with investigating.

Sen. McConnell was asked about multiple bills that would protect the special counsel from interference from President Donald Trump during an interview with MSNBC anchor Hugh Hewitt that was broadcast Saturday.

“This is also a week of indictments,” Hewitt noted. “There are two views about Mr. Mueller. Some want legislation to restrain his power and limit his reach. Others want legislation to keep him safe from being fired.”

“Do you think Congress has any role in legislating about the special counsel right now?” Hewitt asked.

“I don’t think so,” McConnell answered.

Multiple Republican leaders have urged President Trump to fire the special counsel. Ousted Trump strategist Steve Bannon has urged a scorched earth approach to the investigation and Pat Robertson demanded Trump fire Mueller and pardon everyone to “shut down” the investigation.

As the chorus of far-right voices against the special counsel grows, the appetite for congressional action to protect Mueller has waned.

Here’s the video.  I recommend turning the liar off after the significant section.

Bought Bitch Barf Bag Alert!!

This is McConnell’s second parade.  His first was in September 2013.  I trust you’ll agree that Bought Bitch Mitch deserves a new Parade virtually every day.

RESIST THE REPUBLICAN REICH!!

  1. Yes indeed.  I know we believe (or should I say realize) that all Republicans are nuts anyway, but McConnell seems to have gone right around the bend.  Does he really think that Trump firing Mueller would close down the investigation?  I don’t think so.  And Robertson too – he wants Trump to issue pardons.  Does he not realize that accepting a pardon includes an admission of guilt?  Is he, Robertson, therefore admitting that all the co-conspirators are indeed guilty?

  2. Hard to pick which one I loather more – McConnell or Hugh Hewitt.

I suppose McConnell because he has more power.  But Hewitt is one very annoying __________ (fill in your own chose word)

  3. Yea, McConnell is ‘bought’ all right, through and through. He has a brown spot on his nose too.

  4. So, there is Mr. “I’m God’s Right Hand Man,” Robertson, suggesting that lying, cheating, treason, and who knows what other odious acts ought to be protected?!
BBM is just a sleazy slime ball!

  5. Q: Why aren’t Rethuglicans circumcised?
    A: There’s no end to those pr*cks.

  6. As soon as Mueller gets to close to GOP leaders like McConnell and Ryan, who prevented Obama to go public before the election with the information on Russian meddling that had become known at the time, they will join the chorus in the GOP that wants Mueller fired. That moment will come as soon as Mueller goes after Drumpf, because McConnell knows exactly how “loyal” Drumpf is to his own loyalists and he’ll make sure everyone goes down with him if he does.

  7. As you say, “…Bought Bitch Mitch deserves a new Parade virtually every day.” . . . and twice on Sundays!

It is time that the rambling, senile old fool, Pat Robertson, had a parade.  I clicked over to Raw Story for his words of “wisdom”.  Plainly, he does not believe in the constitution for all people.

  8. Thanks all!  Tired hugs! 19
