Projection is the tactic of taking your own shortcoming and projecting it onto your enemies, so that it appears that they are the ones committing your own evil. It’s a standard Republican tactic. It saddens me to see it used by a Democrat, even one who rubs elbows with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. He is a racist law professor who has taken Trump’s side against Mueller.
Former Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz was accused of being a “race-baiter” on MSNBC on Saturday morning over his comments that the grand jury looking into allegations against President Donald Trump was too diverse to give the president a fair shake.
During a panel discussion on AM Joy, host Joy Reid brought up Dershowitz’s comments on a New York radio station where he claimed, “The District of Columbia, which is always solidly Democratic and has an ethnic and racial composition that might be very unfavorable to the Trump Administration.”
“Trump’s supporters are trying to back him up is by saying the compostion of this grand jury is unfair to Donald Trump,” Ried began. “On Friday, on WABC, Alan Dershowitz told Rita Cosby the racial and ethnic makeup is stacked against Donald Trump because D.C. so many black people in it. That seems one of the more absurd arguments against the grand jury process.”… [emphasis added]

Dershowitz has previously stated that Trump and his cronies have committed no crimes, that at most they have committed only a "political wrongdoing".
In addition, he said he would leave the Democratic Party if Keith Ellison was elected to head the DNC.
But all else aside, his statement that people could not perform with integrity on a grand jury, because they are black is racist to the core. He should qiut the Democrats and join the Republican Party. They are people like him.

I made a comment on an article about this on how DC is probably more representative of the total electorate than, say, Virginia, and Disqus user smusherface rightly corrected me, not on fact, but on emphasis:
Mueller is meticulous and will have plenty of good, solid information and eventually concrete evidence of Trump and his cohorts’ malfeasance, so they won’t need to be biased against Trump to serve justice. Saying things like you did only reinforces the right wing narrative that the investigation is just because Democrats, liberals, progressives and the establishment don’t like Trump personally. I get what you meant, but please don’t confirm their narrative for them.
It’s offensive, mean and hateful.
Kudos to Joy, and Mr. Butler and Mr. Painter for pointing out that Dershowitz is a “race-baiter.”

Look at it this way: what Alan Dershowitz really is admitting to is that “this president of all people” is guilty as hell and will get no acquittal from a grand jury that represents all those people of America. Drumpf would only be let of the hook if Mueller’s grand jury were made up entirely of white Drumpfians. Mueller and his team are doing an excellent job.
Democrats would do the party a favor if they cut any ties it has with this DINO, if it has any, that is. I hope despicable racist Dershowitz is more of a troll than a DINO.
I suppose that Dershowitz thought federal Judge GP Curiel was being biased too when the lawsuit against Trump University was before him. Certainly Drumpf sounded off vociferously about it during the campaign.
I listened to an interview on Faux Noise with Dershowitz made within the last few months. Dershowitz is more than condemning Obama and the UN abstention vote by the US on Israel, among other things. And he talked favourably, although briefly, about Drumpf.
Dershowitz is definitely a racist, a Republican trait to be sure. At 78 years, he should retire and keep his mouth shut.
