I will tell you though that the Trump Tower in Toronto — the one with so many financial problems etc and litigation, the one that Drumpf was in a joint venture with a Russian developer — is having Trump’s name removed from it. The word was that the name was being chiselled off and sold for scrap. That Tower is one big fiasco from start to finish.

The heat has returned with humidity, although tonight the temp should drop to 13 C (55.5 F). I have the patio door open and it is relatively cool now but it was up to 33 C (91.5 F) and 77% humidity. We have been w/o rain for 2 weeks and there is likely none in the near future. Hope you can get some relief.

Fastest way to find it would be in Nameless’ Friday Fun post. It’s hilarious, and right on, but after one says that, what else can one say? I’m sure Trump hasn’t seen it yet (they are probably doing their best to prevent him seeing it because his response would be whatever-the diametric-opposite-of-epic is.)

MMC: “People die on Medicaid all the time”, “we’re all going to die and they can’t predict…” There you have the conservative problem in a nutshell: although poor and old people do die on Medicaid, its too unpredictable when and how many do and such a waste of money in the meantime, so TrumpCare will have to make that “window of opportunity” as predictable as possible and just throw off anyone that needs it and make sure they die. Then leave it up to Faux News to sell this as a positive thing to their dumb-ass viewers.

Rachel Maddow: Chairmen of Congressional Committees in charge of investigating Drumpf’s obstruction of justice are now openly not going after finding the truth but instead are going for the jugular of the FBI, trying to discredit both the FBI investigations a the people leading the investigations personally. It’s not hard to see who have already buckled under pressure of the White House, is it. Not that Grassley and Graham had any backbone to withstand pressure with or that they weren’t already bending before there was any sign of pressure…??

Poll: How about going international and asking Americans the same question as the French answered in some polls I’ve seen: Should Macron have invited Trump to visit Paris on Bastille Day (14th of July)?
The reason behind it seemed to be for Drumpf to attend the traditional military parade in Paris on this day, which will also commemorate the 100th anniversary of America’s entry into World War I to fight alongside the French, British and other Allies.

Lona’s comment on the cartoon is spot on. Christians commit acts of terror and violence, and they are just lone wolves. Muslims commit acts of terror and violence, and they represent all Muslims.
I do not think authentic Christians or Authentic Muslims commit such acts of violence. It’s Republican Supply-side pseudo-Christians and pseudo-Muslims that do.
