I think I need to tale a day off from the ongoing flood of evidence that Fuhrer Drumpfenfarten and his closest associates, both American and Russian, are guilty of treason and/or espionage.  Trump has other traits that deserve occasional attention, like his absolute dishonesty and his total incompetence.

For nine days, Donald Trump has been traveling across the Middle East and Europe, bringing every terrible stereotype about “ugly Americans” to vivid life. He labeled Germany (where he doesn’t have business interests) “very bad” after saying nary a critical word in Saudi Arabia (where he does have business interests). He chastised our partners in NATO while revealing he doesn’t actually understand how it all works. He literally threw his weight around like an attention-starved problem child, and he broadcast his every move to the world via his cellphone, which would be a security risk if we had a president anyone wanted to kidnap.

Mostly—when he wasn’t trading arms for political and personal gain—Trump acted like an embarrassing boor. He can’t help proving that he and his followers are the punchlines to a joke the rest of the world is laughing at.

Here are eight examples.

1. Lied to the new French president about supporting him in the election even though it’s really easy to find out he didn’t.

“You were my guy," Trump reportedly said to newly elected French president Emmanuel Macron, a quote that suggests the president doesn’t know many of us have eyes and ears and internets that prove he’s lying. For someone so practiced at lying, the president remains terrible at it.

While Trump never explicitly endorsed noted Islamophobe, Holocaust revisionist and French National Front leader Marine Le Pen, he gushed over her racist bonafides during the French election. "She’s the strongest on borders, and she’s the strongest on what’s been going on in France," he said in an April interview with the Associated Press. "Whoever is the toughest on radical Islamic terrorism, and whoever is the toughest at the borders, will do well in the election."

On April 21, a couple days shy of the first round of voting, and 24 hours after the shooting of a police officer on the Champs-Élysées, Trump tweeted [Twitter twit delinked], “Another terrorist attack in Paris. The people of France will not take much more of this. Will have a big effect on presidential election!”… [emphasis added]

From <Alternet>

We all know that Trump had nothing but complements for Le Pen and nothing to say about Macron until after he won the election.  It was obvious that Trump supported a Nazi like Le Pen and himself, not a centrist.  Macron knew it well.

I shared only the first example.  Click through for the other seven.

However, his trip did give us a business opportunity.  We can now threaten Europe with another Trump visit, and I’m sure they’ll pay us to keep him here, unless we were sending him to The Hague.

  1. Some of these I really don't want to talk about, but I just have to point out that, if Hillary has the stamina for long walks in the woods, she probably wouldn't have needed a golf cart.

  2. 1. Liar through and through. He'd of gushed over LePen if she won. Thank the Lord she didn't.
    2. & 3. God. How embarrassing can he get?

This sums up Drumpf quite well.  Just add "liar extraordinaire" and a really healthy eye roll from everyone that has to deal with this embarrassment.

I, as a Canadian, would consider it "an act of war" if Drumpf ever shows up in Canada, and I am fairly certain that the Europeans will feel the same way after they recover from this past trip.

    Resist and Persist!!!

  5. It was significant that Drumpf waited with a press conference until he was literally back on American "soil" when he landed briefly on an American base in the Mediterranean to talk to the American press only gathered there; well at least European media thought so, because they have all mentioned it. It was also significant that Drumpf called his "historic" trip a great success, that he, his friends and allies had bonded and had made significant headway on issues.", which couldn't be further away from the truth as spoken by European and G7 leaders and reported by European media.

As we learn from this Alternet article, Drumpf made a lot of "social blunders", but EU leaders are all experienced politicians and have learned to grin and bear the boorish behavior of the likes of UKIP's Nigel Farage, France's Marine Le Pen, Dutch Geert Wilders and other populists, so that wasn't what they were upset, even angry, about. It was the chastise on their NATO contributions, it was his unheard of labeling of Germany as "very bad" because they compete successfully on the American automobile market, it was not having done his homework on NATO or the European trade union and not knowing how either works and not being able to engage in any real discussion on trade unless it was in relation to his own business, but most of all it was his insulting refusal to give any indication of accepting the Paris Climate Agreement which has been signed by 195 countries. Angela Merkel called it a disagreement between the 6 and 1 because of his refusal, which has led the media to label it the G6 + 1 Climate Summit.

We know by now that Drumpf is the maker of all fake news when it comes to his own "successes", but he seems to have learned his lesson in some way and only utters his lies to the gullible American media now.

Many of which are not half as gullible as he would like him to be. The LA Times reported: Trump didn't win any friends in Europe, while other, let's say even less Drumpf-friendly media noted: Trump Calls Overseas Trip A YUGE Success, European Leaders Strongly Disagree.

No, you better not sent Drumpf back again to Europe, because what he's accomplished here is a far more united EU, despite the Brexit, one of which Angela Merkel says Germany can no longer rely on Donald Trump's America: 'We Europeans must take our destiny into our own hands'

We Europeans must really take our destiny into our own hands. The times in which we can fully count on others are somewhat over, as I have experienced in the past few days. We need to know we must fight for our own future as Europeans for our destiny.

This has resulted in the EU starting to discuss building its own EU nuclear defense system again, independent from the US which they feel they can no longer trust to have their back. Oh yes, the European countries may well start increasing their defense budgets, Drumpf, but if they do it will go to the EU and not to NATO to buy your American weapons with. And the EU will also commit itself to the Paris Agreements, whatever Drumpf decides.

  6. Unfortunately for all of us, Trump is in dire need of medical/psychiatric attention … which is doubtful he'd ever accept.
