I’m feeling a bit better today.  I’m waiting for Store to Door to arrive.  Depending on which driver comes, they  will either get here soon or in about 2 1/2 hours.  Wendy is coming this evening to fleece and degrease the sweaty TomCat and to dine on chili dogs… That was sooner than I thought.  Store to Door has come and gone, and I have my groceries stowed.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:49 (average 5:10).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

From YouTube (GQ Channel):  The Mistake Trump Can’t Ever Walk Back | The Resistance with Keith Olbermann

Trump is already attacking all the other freedoms listed in the First Amendment. Keith’s questions must be thrown in Republican politicians’ and pundits’ faces at least hourly. RESIST!

From Daily Kos: All those everyday working stiffs who think they have a friend in Trump need to spend a minute listening to him talk to the $200k a seat members of his club.

“So, this is my real group,” Trump said at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, on November 18, according to the audiotape. “These are the people that came here in the beginning, when nobody knew what this monster was gonna turn out to be, right?”

And for his “real group” Trump makes some special invitations that he wasn’t handing out to the small crowd he gathered at a Florida airport.

"We’re doing a lot of interviews tomorrow — generals, dictators, we have everything,” Trump told the crowd, according to an audiotape of his closed-to-the-press remarks, obtained by POLITICO from a source in the room. “You may wanna come around. It’ll be fun. We’re really working tomorrow. We have meetings every 15, 20 minutes with different people that will form our government."

Come on down! Watch us play National Security Advisor Apprentice! It’ll be fun!

These billionaires and Alt-Right Nazis are who the Fuhrer represents. RESIST!!

From AL.com: The Alabama Senate Judiciary Committee will begin preparing for a possible impeachment trial of Gov. Robert Bentley in the Senate, Chairman Cam Ward said today.

Ward said he planned to appoint two Democrats and two Republicans to a subcommittee on Wednesday to write a draft set of rules for how the Senate would conduct an impeachment trial.

Ward said he does not expect the House to impeach Bentley.

"We need to make sure we’re organized and prepared to deal with whatever happens," he said.

The subcommittee’s draft would be subject to approval by the Judiciary Committee, and then would go to the full Senate for approval.

If they impeach the corrupt Love Gov., Luther Strange, the criminal AG that traded favoritism to Bentley for his Senate seat, will probably lose his post too. RESIST!!

  1. 4:34  More pink!  This one is edible, if large for a kitty.  Maybe Lynn can save him.

Keith – Yeah.  "Enemy of the American People."  "Enemy of the People."  Well.  Orwell has just been replaced by Ibsen [and hopefully Arthur Miller].  (I hope we won't forget Orwell, but yes, Ibsen/Miller is a good addition.)  Apparently the phrase goes back 2000 years, having been first (that we know of) used to describe the Emperor Nero (hostis publicus.)  Well.  Is this just more projection?  Is Keith's analysis correct?  Will Republicans be unable to run on Trump?  As stupid as American voters are – I wish i could accept Keith's analysis.  But I can't.

DKos – Yes – This is his 47% moment – alas, it comes too late.

AL – Unless we live in Alabama, we can only hope.  And, of course, pray.

Cartoon – Oh, poor, poor kitty!

  2. KO: Spot on, KO. Keep 'em coming.

    DK: Makes me ill. ugh!

Cartoon: Look at that face! Awww….sweet little kitty cat!

Glad your groceries came, and that Wendy is visiting. Hope that you have a good evening, take care, and Thanks, Tom. Gotta run!! 😉

  3. KO: It will be nice to see Rumpy melt into a pool of his own water, like the Wicked Witch of the West.  It just can' t happen too soon.: Orange Bufoon hoisted on his very own petard!

DK: Like I said recently, "Man of the people, my ass!"

Al.com: Having just the other day, Monday, returned from a Mardi Gras weekend, in Mobile, Al., home of the original event, an experience in loudness and alcohol, that probably brings in a huge amount of tourist dollars, which I expect to never repeat, I really give not a damn about their probably incestuous politics.  However, I guess their politics does have some minor impact on federal issues, such as in regard to their intensive evangelisism. This Northeasterner was treated well, not that anyone was interested in politics.  The parades were loud, not especially impressive, to me, but, I believe that some of the organizations that put out the floats, and marchers donate money to various charities.

  4. Puzzle — 3:24  Not on your dinner plate tonight, Puddy Tat!

YouTube — " … it is an attack on the constitution itself, …" — Keith, how would Drumpfenfarten know that?  He's never read the constitution and re refuse a copy proferred by Mr Khan, an immigrant and Gold Star father.  Great questions!  Republicans cannot answer these questions honestly.  Republicans that are holding town hall meetings are fleeing the meetings early amid angry constituents calling for blood.  Others are not holding any meetings because they know that constituents are angry, while others, like McTurtle, are inviting a select group of constituents to meetings.  Me thinks that Drumpfenfarten has created an atmosphere of fear, a fear of the people by their socalled representatives!

    Resist and Persist!!!

Daily Kos — I hope this "conversation" grows bigger, very much bigger, than Rmoney's 47% comment in 2012 (Remember this: All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it — that that's an entitlement.) and has the same affect, sinking himself and all Republicans faster than the Titanic!

    Resist and Persist!!!

AL.com — "If they impeach the corrupt Love Gov., Luther Strange, the criminal AG that traded favoritism to Bentley for his Senate seat, will probably lose his post too." — From your keyboard to God's ear!

    Resist and Persist!!!

Cartoon — Yeah, I'd say that is one of your best!  Poor Puddy Tat!

    Resist and Persist!!!

Fluffed and buffed, you'll feel a lot better!  I had a hair cut today and that always makes me feel better which right now is needed.  My hairdresser told me today however that I have alopecia areata right above my right ear which wasn't there last month.  Fortunately the hair has already started to grow back.  What a thought . . . a bald Sasquatch!  LOL!!!

  5. You always seem to perk up a bit when Wendy comes around to give you a good clean, but I don't think cleanliness is the only reason, TomCat. She'd be worth her weight in gold to you, even if she wasn't that good a helper. Her friendship is beyond price, isn't it.

Keith Olbermann: Right as always, but his predictions are fully dependent on the tenacity of those who resist and on the persistence with which they keep bringing back all of Drumpf's dictatorial "mistakes" to the extremely short term memories of The Voter. Drumpf is deliberately trying to drown The Resistance in a cesspool of such remarks, coming one after the other with no time to breathe, and drawing the attention away from his Russian ties and the business empire he's still running, sponsored by the taxpayer. So:

    FOCUS, RESIST & PERSIST

DK: Drumpf does the same now at his golf club/Mar-a-lago in Florida where he takes the guests that visit the White House, and where he goes nearly every weekend to lend an ear to his true friends at the club. One of the Koch brothers is a member of his club, by the way.

AI: So some for of impeachment procedure may finally be on it's way in Alabama, but seems to have little chance of making it. Too bad it also seems to focus mainly on Bentley's alleged affair and far less on his corruption. Both sound rather Republican to me, so The Alabama Senate Judiciary Committee is right not to expect the House to impeach Bentley.

Cartoon: That should teach you not to play with hookers LOL Indeed one of your best, TomCat.

  6. Thanks all!  Hugs!!
