I had to cancel my Urologist appointment, because Stumpy swelled and I could not get George on.  I have to go back to bed and elevate the leg, until I can again.  I’ll keep you posted.  Hugs.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:37 (average 4:53).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

  1. Hope that Stumpy gets better so George can hook up.

Best to you, get some rest, and take good Care!!!
    Thanks, Tom.

  2. 4:32  Looks like hot chocolate, but then, from the top, cappuccino does look like hot chocolate.

Stumpy's swelling is worrying to me.  Do take care of yourself.  You look comfortable in that cartoon – enjoy the rest – keep us posted as you are able to.

Since it's going to be a slow PP day, I'll put up my mid-week Erinyes when I have it ready.

    • Just finished watching "Accidental Courtesy" on PBS.  Wow.  My connection is Scott Shepherd, who is featured in the last half hour (not the full half hour, and it may even be during just the last 15 minutes; I wasn't watching the clock.)  I did not do much for him except encourage him a little, but I am still so proud of him.  He was invited and went to the King Center "Beloved Community Speaks" event this year, and there's a clip on You/tube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZPQJZHZ1iM&feature=youtu.be  The whole "Accidental Courtesy" film is not on YouTube or PBS, but it is on hulu, which I don't belong to.  I must say after Frank Ancoma being shot and dumped just within the last week, it was a little spooky to see him on the screen.

  3. Stumpy playing up again, TomCat? I hope Stumpy's swelling is not because you sat behind your desk too long, reading up and researching all the horrible things the GOP/Drumpf have managed to cram into another day. Do take care of yourself, my dear friend.

  4. Remember the anagram of RICE. Elevate, rest, ice and, damn! I can't remember the one for "C"! Just keep him elevated and try the ice!

Hope Stumpy gets better SOON! Take care, TC!

  5. Puzzle — 2:52  I tried to go fast to get away from the smell of the coffee — allergic — very nauseating smell to me.

So Stumpy and George are having a pissing match to see who can be the bigger pain?  While you look comfy in the picture, you really should be like my Primo and lie on your back with the legs elevated so they are above your heart.  Primo has it down to an art form!

I am going out to remove mother's walker etc from the car since it is sunshiney today!  It looks like spring with the exception of the big piles of snow from the ploughs.  Then I am off to return my bottles and get a few groceries.  It is rather surreal right now. I am so accustomed to spending time with my mother, that now that she is gone, I'm at sixes and sevens.  It will work its way out in time.

    Take care.

    Resist!!!

    • I must have missed news of your mother's passing, my condolences!

    • I understand.  when so much of your life revolved around your role as caregiver, you lost more than a loved one.  You lost part of your own identity.   {{{HUGS!!}}}

    • I hope this doesn't sound too frivolous, but when I was working in theater, when a production came to the end of its run, cast and crew all felt a sense of emptiness.  We used to call it the "My Life Is Over Blues."  Of course what you are feeling is on a far greater scale.

      • Not frivolous at all.  I have experienced that before.  But as you say, this "…is on a far greater scale."  It will definitely work itself out in time.

  6. I don't like that TC!  Tell stumpy to behave!

  7. Thanks all!  Hugs!!
