RepublicansOnParade4

Here is the eighty-ninth article in our Republicans on Parade series, featuring individuals who personify what the Republican Party has become. In the past, it has been my policy to deny Republicans more that one parade, but I have decided to change that.  With the advent of a Republican Reich and the character of their new Fuhrer, Republicans now have the opportunity to do evil at levels they could only imagine before.  Today’s honoree is Republican conspiracy theorist and fake news agent Alex Jones.  He is so honored for posting a special message on pizzagate.  His last award was in 2013

1208JonesAt midnight last night, Alex Jones posted a special message on his Facebook page about “Pizzagate,” the bizarre conspiracy theory popularized by fake news websites and right-wing conspiracy outlets—including Jones’s InfoWars [hate delinked]—that a Washington, D.C., pizzeria houses a secret pedophile ring led by Hillary Clinton and her closest advisers.

While Jones did not mention it in his video, an armed man was arrested yesterday after entering and firing shots inside the restaurant, claiming he was there to “self-investigate” the Pizzagate claims. The restaurant and nearby businesses have faced harassment and threats for GOPweeks as false claims have spread through the far-right news swamp that the restaurant hosts an underground tunnel network where the rich and powerful abuse and traffic children.

During the presidential campaign, Donald Trump surrogate Michael Flynn—now the president-elect’s pick to be national security adviser—shared a fake news website’s sorry that claimed that Clinton was part of a pedophile network. Flynn’s son, who is involved with Trump’s transition team, continued to promote [tweeting twit delinked] Pizzagate claims on the day of the incident.

In the video he posted last night, Jones, standing next to a Christmas tree, criticized CNN and other major news outlets, insisting that they are the real purveyors of fake news while InfoWars and other Pizzagate investigators are merely trying to uncover the truth.

Jones claimed that a number of political figures, including President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta, participate in child sex acts, a conclusion that Jones arrived at after he uncovered supposed pedophile code words in emails from Podesta that were released by WikiLeaks. He claimed that elites have parties “where they’re drinking blood and they bring little kids to the party—I don’t know if it’s human sacrifice but they have little kids at these parties.”… [emphasis added]

No matter how hateful I say this Republican is, it pales before the video.  Do not play if youngsters are present.

Extreme Barf Bag Alert!! This will make you sick!

What more can I say?  Jones is a Republican.

  1. You ask what more you can say besides "Jones is a Republican", TomCat. How about "Jones is a barfing mad Republican." And no, that's not one of my usual spelling mistakes.

I think Jones deserves to be nominated for Republicans on Parade on a weekly basis, and it's good you changed your policy, but did you have to send the posting notification right after I had a nice dinner? I had to stop at 1:30 minutes in fear of loosing that meal again. I tried a little later, but had to stop at the point where Jones said "…and I always try to tell the truth…" Major cookie toss.

According to Right Wing Watch Drumpf and Jones are as thick as thieves. As I've said before, it takes one to know one. Madman, that is.

  2. I don't think I can watch this.  Alex Jones has been making me barf for a long time.  And he appears to have stepped up the nausea several notches on this one.  So has Alfred Lambremont Webre, BTW.   Projection.

  3. RWW: He's sickening!! AJ is twisted! ugh!

I got to 3:34 and had to just stop.

  4. Funny how Republicans seem to be lacking a bs detector.  Instead of identifying bs and rejecting it, many seem to embrace it.

    • My theory (and I'm not alone) is that it's projection.  They accuse others, and believe accusations, of things they are themselves doing, or are about to do, or at the very least would do if they could get away with it.  To find out what a Republican is up to, just look at what he is accusing others of doing.

    • I agree with JD and have said so often.  Also, see today's Open Thread on the absence of a BS detector.

  5. I listened to the Alex video for less than a minute and decided to quit earlier this AM. A. J. isn't worth listening to at all. Yes, he belongs in the looney nut house without question. Alex is a cheap, propaganda seeking retard, one that continually screams and yells like a maniac. Boycott his sponsors. Alex makes a ton of money off of his poor brain-washed followers. Drumpf is one of them. No need to put this screamer on the Republicans On Parade list again.
    .

  6. I couldn't listen to it.  I read several articles today about how this guy and others have perpetuated the false news that inspired one nutcase to take matters into his own hands.  There really should be some legal consequences for anyone who deliberately publishes or airs false news.

  7. Alex Jones is one very sick Republican bastard!  Further, his little diatribe makes no sense but might just qualify him for a bed at Ponoka (Alberta's psychiatric institution)!

    • IMO, it is sad that a clearly despicable deplorable like Alex Jones has the same 1st amendment rights as everyone else, even though he uses his rights to incite hatred and promote total lies.  I know that to limit his rights, or anyone else's for that matter, is counter to the true meaning of the 1st amendment, but . . .

  8. …but nobody has the right to yell "fire" in a crowded theatre.

    Thanks all!!  Hugs!!
