  1. Yup… It is that time again to fuss with your clocks around the house as I discovered earlier this AM.

Fall Back — Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday At 2 AM

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 7, so don't forget to set you clock back Saturday night before going to bed.

  2. 😀 😀 I noticed you titled this reminder: Americans, did you remember? My compliments for remembering that Europe and Australia respectively fell back and jumped ahead last Sunday, TomCat. But you could have included many more living on the North American continent, i.e. in the US, Canada (except for Saskatchewan), Mexico, St. Johns, the Bahamas and Caicos.

Just pulling George, dear friend, I just couldn't resist. Thank you for reminding us.

  3. Thanks for the reminder, Tom.

I was up at 4 a.m. instead of my usual 5 a.m. LOL.

  4. Oh, I remembered.  But it is an indication of just how toxic our election is that there were so few external reminders ahead of time.  Usually I am going through my email and reading articles and saying "Yes, I know.  Yes, I know.  Yes, I know."  This time I also knew, but had to look it up to be certain – all the externals were so silent.

  5. All except one. I gotta climb on a chair to get that one!

    • Fifty years is a conservative estimate (pardon my French, I'm not using the word in that sense).  I would guess something closer to 150 years.

    • AMEN!!! my friend!

I agree with JD but think it is more like being set back 240 years.

    • Nameless, when we use a "someeecards" item, we need to put their embed code in the source of our article or comment.  When someone clicks the pic, it opens a new window or tab at their site.

      • Not clear what you mean.  Hope you corrected my faux pas.  Thought giving attribution would suffice.

        Pease clarify.

        • Sure.  I did not correct it, because I did not habe time to look for the graphic.  When a content creator or owner provides a means for others to use that content, its use  superseeds the Fair Use Doctrine.  If you go to where you found the graphic on "someeecards", directly below the graphic, you'll see a link/embed link.  Click that and you'll find the embed code.  Copy it and past it in the source code of the commewnt here, where you want the graphic to appear.  Does that clarify it?  Hugs!!

  6. Yes, I did, and I hate it.  It was almost dark at 4:40pm today, will be dark when we get up tomorrow, too, plus getting body clocks to adjust.  I wish they would leave the time one way or the other, I don't care which.

    • I do care which.  Daylight time all year might save me $200 a year over my current expenses.  Standard all year would cost me $800 a year over my current expenses, and that is conservative – it could be more.

    •  There is a "poll" on one of our local radio stations.  Many people were saying stay on daylight savings time all year.

  7. I remembered to set my clocks back last night and I still overslept!  At least I wasn't late for church though.

  8. DST should be change to CST (Cat Sleep Time).  We would swt the clocks back an hour in both Spring and Fall!! wink
