Almost every week, Republicans join a competition to see who can say the most outlandish things, and in the process, they push the envelope on just how sick InsaniTEA can become.  I trust that you will believe it, when I tell you that last week was no exception.

Joe Scarborough makes really lame defense of Trump’s racism.

Trump is just playing, Joe Scarborough said on his morning show Friday.

Really?

The Morning Joe host has been on the outs with Trump for the past few months, exchanging withering tweets with him and withdrawing his endorsement. But maybe the bromance isn’t all together over. Scarborough not only bought Trump’s lame, blanket, scripted apology this week for saying things that “may have caused personal pain,” he said that much of what Trump has been doing on the campaign trail has been an act. “This loud, screaming, racially insensitive, at times race-baiting buffoon that gets behind microphones at political rallies, that’s Donald Trump playing a role,” Scarborough said.

His guest, adman and fellow white man Donny Deutsch added, “I’ve always found him to be charming, smart, generous of spirit if you ever called him up.”

So, maybe the Mexicans he maligns and tosses out and the Muslims he bans would just call him up?

“Having said that, this man I’ve seen up on the stump is repulsive to me,” Deutsch hastened to add.

Scarborough bought into the narrative that the feeble Trump apology represented the long-awaited and prayed-for pivot that desperate Republicans are longing to see in their nominee.

Not bloody likely.

Like Bill O’Reilly, Donald’s white male pals have never heard him say anything racist behind closed doors. Selective hearing is a wonderful thing.

When people are out committing hate crimes and invoking your name, and children are chanting “Build the wall” to their tearful Latino classmates, playing a role just does not cut it, Morning Joe.

Trump is not serious.  The Pope is not Catholic.  And bears never, ever shit in the woods!  Republicans call MSNBC librul propaganda.  Ha!

This is just the fifth of five listed sick Republican moments from last week alone.  Click through for the other four.

  1. 1.  Great minds continue to fall in the same ditch.  We've already discussed this one.  Is there more to say?

    2.  Oh, yeah, this rally.  Besides "Vote for me because you are so miserable it couldn't get any worse" (a real incentive, right?), wasn't this the meeting where a young man from a family of Indian extraction wanted to end the rally and was so excited to be able to do so – his very first one – only to be prevented from entering by Trump goons who assured him he was a known instigator who had caused trouble at several previous rallies, and there was no way he was going to get in?  Or maybe not – maybe it was a different state – but it was the same speech.

    3.  Background of a burning car.  Right.  Obama may or may not be an Uncle Tom, as Jill Stein's VP pick says, but Sheriff David Clarke is definitely a classic Oreo.

    4.  The shakeup probably does feel like business as usual to Gogrina (She's not nice enough to be a Kat), because they don't seem to be able to hold on to anyone very long.  But Hillary?  Dysphasia?  Does she even know the meaning of that word?  Do you suppose someone told her she had it, and decided to apply it to Hillary because it sounded like a non desiderata?

    5.  Pivot?  Trump?  As the article says, "Not bloody likely."

  2. Giuliani: Must be something in the water, eh?

    2.&3. Ugh. Just plain ugh!

    5. DT is a nightmare waiting to happen!

    Thanks, Tom.

  3. Hey, ScarboroughTwo Words: Lori Klausutis

  4. We always need a barf bag for these alerts.  I still do not understand why MSNBC keeps Scarborough, he definitely belongs on Faux news.   After reading about Lori Klausutis, I think he needs to be investigated.  Guiliani must be expecting to get a Cabinet post if Trump is elected, I cannot see any other reason for his unbelievable remarks.  Any person of color who would vote for Trump needs serious counselling. He makes no effort to hide his racism.  His supporters are getting desperate in their attempts to make us believe it is the media that makes him look bad. Vote Blue!

  5. Drumpf at Walmart!

    5

    1. I'm not trying to do a medical diagnosis because I'm not a doctor and I don't even play one on TV, but IMHO, or maybe not so humble, Rudy has slipped more than a few cogs!

    2. Ditto #1 for Drumpf only he's delusional — 95% of the African-American vote after 4 years?  That won't happen because he's not getting even 1 day in the WH, and most African-Americans have too much self respect to vote for that parasite.

    3. Ditto #1 — Kingston is living in an alternate reality!

    4. Pierson is not only living in an alternate reality, she's in an alternate universe.  I just wish she'd STFU!!!  She'd be best to keep quiet and we can then think she doesn't know anything.  Unfortunately, she keeps opening her mouth and removes all doubt!!!

    5. Joe Scarborough, another brain dead acolyte of Drumpf!

  6. 1. Giuliani: Why don't we all do ourselves a big favor and forget that this man ever existed. It's not hard, just follow Giuliani's lead…

    2. Drumpf: indeed, seen from the perspective of a white, angry, racist, megalomaniac millionaire con-man who proudly points out the one black man in the audience and call him "my African-American",  African-Americans may not have much to loose, but then Drumpf wouldn't have a clue what pride, self-worth and common sense means to them.

    3. Kingston: again: clueless.

4: Pierson:do I need to repeat myself again?

5: Scarborough: he should stop auditioning for a stint on Faux News. Even they do not want him on board.

  7. Thanks all!  Tired Hugs!!
