For a while, I didn’t think there was going to be any eye-catching nuggets today – but the Trumps proved me wrong!
The story that Herr Drumpf’s campaign has FINALLY fabricated … settled on WRT Melania’s plagiarizing Michelle Obama is that an in-house staff writer, Meredith McIver, at Trump Organization is the guilty party. Well, at least Meredith is the sacrificial lamb being offered up on the golden altar.
But it turns out that this is NOT the first time Melania has stolen … plagiarized … “borrowed” a quote, unattributed, from another accomplished black woman. Back a few years it was Marva Collins, an educator and civil rights activist that Melania plagiarized.
Here’s the Tweet that Melania Twittered out back then:
“Always trust yourself, think for yourself, act for yourself, speak for yourself. Be yourself!”
Truly it is a wonderful sentiment worthy of a Tweet – but unfortunately it’s not Melania’s. She stole it from the late Ms. Collins.
But please take special note of the irony in Melania’s decision to leave out Ms. Collins last sentence:
“Always trust yourself, think for yourself, act for yourself, speak for yourself. Be yourself! Imitation is suicide.”
I have no doubt Melania’s eliding the last sentence from her Tweet was purposeful.
I’m starting to think that Melania WAS the guilty party for plagiarizing Michelle Obama. It just took the “Keystone Kops” Drumpf camp this long to put a passably plausible story together and select their sacrificial lamb.
My feeling that Melania is the guilty party is buttressed by some candid photos that (once again courtesy of Google) I have been able to uncover.
But apparently it doesn’t seem to bother The Donald one least little bit.
Oh, well – at least Melania chose strong, accomplished women to admire and steal from.

Do you think Melania is smart onough to have come u with the rickroll all by herself? (I had to research it too, though I kind of recognized the lines – the part near the end where she said Donald would "never give up" and "never let you down" – it's from Rick Astley's song, and there seems to be a whole subculture about using him for trollng. Or just for rolling.)
Also, do you think the sacrificial lamb helped? I mean, it's now on record that Melania admires Michelle, whereas before it was just – ummm – presumptive.
Do you think you can find a song for every word she ever says>? Bet you can. But there are more important things to dwell on, like keeping a lying criminal OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE.

So Melania tweeted "Always trust yourself, think for yourself, act for yourself, speak for yourself. Be yourself!" without attributing it to Marva Collins. Obviously she does not understand the quote as she sure did not think for herself or speak for herself. She did act for herself enough to plagiarise, but not wisely.
Obviously she and Drumpf are well suited to each other — they both lie.

Apparently the sacrificial lamb is now mutton. She? He? is employed by Trump's business, not the campaign, and using corporate assets for campaign purposes is a violation of election law. Now that's an indictment I could get behind.

This could and should be the anti-plagiarism trust's meme. How stupid can you be if you tweet this as if it was your own. The Drumpfs are so ignorant and full of themselves they couldn't possibly imagine that people could see this word theft for what it was, just on the basis of who who tweeted it. Why do fools always think that everyone else is a fool too.
