    4. SF Pride –  San Francisco, CA
    When: June 28th

One of the most recognizable Gay Pride celebrations around the world, SF Pride is by far the biggest LGBT gathering in the country. The parade starts on Market Street and ends by City Hall, where Harvey Milk’s delivered his famous Hope Speech almost four decades ago. Hotel Vitale is a partner of SF Pride and is located one block from the start of the Parade. Attendees should now that public nudity is legal in San Francisco, with many at SF Pride taking advantage of this law, so this may not be the most kid-friendly of parades.  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/hipmunk/5-us-gay-pride-parade-cit_b_7715160.html

This year marks the 46th year the event has taken place in SF. It begins this weekend for those of you living near SF in Northern California. I'm by-passing it this year as the large crowds have gotten a bit too much for me.

Our HOG (Harley Owners Group) Chapter no longer raffles a brand new Harley as our sponsoring dealership has changed hands. I do remember the fun times we had selling raffle tickets at the Gay Pride Event in SF., one of our biggest raffle ticket selling events. We still have our annual Summer Run for charity.

Yes, there is nudity there. lol. Not surprising. lol. Parents with children should not attend the event if they object to nudity. Oh well… One of the photos I took there at the event a few years ago hangs on my wall behind the computer. A favorite. lol.
