Here are the results of our “Education Blame/Credit” poll.  Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories.   Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population.  Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking or will of the national majority.

I voted that Republicans have made it worse, because they are the ones responsibhle for the cuts that have decimated the programs od several different kinds that keep people off the streets.

The new poll questions whether or not the Superdelegates should override the votes of the majority of Democratic voters, resulting in a majority of pledged delegates.  Don’t forget to vote, please.

  1. My comment, I see now, was not clear.  My opinion was that Republicans had made it worse (for all the reasons you cite).  But also, that Democrats might have done something to make it better – but hadn't.  I tried to be more clear this time.

  2. I agree with JD.  But would add that Huntsman made things better in UT and ID and WY are copying his humane approach which saves money (all GOP) as is SF (DEM).

  3. Thanks, Tom for post.

  4. I voted that both had made it worse because the Democrats have not done anything to reverse the damages done by the Republicans.

  5. Republicans have definitely made things worse both by gutting programmes, and by preventing some Democratic programmes.

    VOTE BLUE NO MATTER WHO!!!

  6. I didn't vote on the education poll, because I had no personal frame of reference for it, just my impressions based on my interest in American politics in the past 2-3 years or so. But I think I'm allowed a vote in your next poll, TomCat. That one seems to speaks of a more general concern about democracy.

  7. Thanks and Hugs to all.  The Squatch also clarified my opinion,  Democrats tried to help, but Republcans  blocked the funding fdor everything they proposed.
