On the eve of the New York primary, Full Frontal host Samantha Bee decided to chat with a few voters who’ve declared their support for Bernie Sanders.
“You know, it’s easy for dried-up old crones like me to dismiss Bernie fans as naive kids who believe in wizards and unicorns,” Bee stated introducing the segment. “Sometimes too easy/ But I wanted to hear from actual Sanders supporters themselves.”
Meeting at Cafe Wha? – an old school folk spot in New York City’s West Village – Bee’s invitees made up an “impossibly diverse panel,” who she turned to with a few questions about their favorite candidate.,,

As much as I hate to say it, they did seem a bit gullible.
In the second, Samantha destroyed the Republican candidates.
That’s three for three for Bee, but to be fair, her targets were impossible to miss.

Well, not everyone who supports Bernie is naive OR optimistic. I still believe his getting the nomination still possible but far from certain. As far as believing in unicorns – for forty years we have been listening to trickle down Republicans and third way Democrats. who I am sure believe the New Deal was nothing but unicorns. And free stuff. And it absolutely did not work, listening to them. No, no, it was all big corporations and big banks that made America prosperous in the 40's and 50's. And, of course, big war. And God forbid we should ever look at Scandinavia today! Well, that makes sense. People are mostly happy there. if people were mostly happy here, we wouldn't be nearly so easy to lead into hate.
And, yes, the Republican candidates are targets which are impossible to miss. Jon, John, and Stephen also pick targets impossible to miss. And why not? There are so many of them! And they are so awful!
LOL Got to hand it to Samantha Bee, she takes every candidate down a notch, fair and square. Of course she has a much easier job doing that with Republican candidates, they do most of the work themselves, but she doesn't shy away from showing the weaknesses of the Democratic candidates – and their voters – either.

Samantha Bee is AWESOME!!! I loved her on The Daily Show and she has just gotten BETTER!!! Thanks for the clips! I can never seem to get that recorded when it comes on. She hit the DRUMPF on the head with her description of him!!!

Well, here we are , at 9:45 PM, on the 19th, and Hillary beat Bernie, badly. Bernie's campaign is in trouble.
Rump beat Cruzthing.
Of course the best of the 2 videos was the 2nd, a discertation on the Republican candidates. KKKasich really screwed the pooch — his ignorance never ceases to amaze me. And Cruz? Loved the lady that said "Get out of the Bronx!" As for Drumpf, . . .

My take was that she was playing with Bernie's supporters as good fun, but pr4esenting the Republicans for ridicule.
