  1. High Speed Rail – Well, of course, we have no infrastructure that would support it, and aren't likely to get any from Republicans.  We can't even take care of the trains we have.  And the people who are sentimental about trains are sentimental about what they used to look at in the 19th century (here, Sheriff!) But also – how is high speed rail in Europe on transporting not just passengers, but wheelchairs?

Belgium – Well, no s***, Sherlock, what was your first clue?  Yes, I realize people who WON'T see it aren't going to be competent to see it. but surely Europe has SOME leaders who are smarter than our Republicans!

FOIA – How did that happen?  Were they hypnotized?

Syria – I know there are two opinions, but I always felt Colin Powell was played for a sucker.  If Larry Wilkerson, who seems to have some brains, was his chief of staff, that might well support my opinion.

    • The high speed rail I rode on in France, Denmark and Sweden were well designed for wheelchairs a few years ago.

  2. Hi Speed Rail: I haven't been on a train, NE corridor, since I left back in the late 60's. A friend of mine who was stationed in Japan said the trains were amazing!! Wish we had them here.

Trillion Dollar Question: Sanders is one of only three U.S. Senators who support the SANE Act, legislation that would significantly reduce U.S. government spending on nuclear weapons. I'm with Bernie on this one. Let's build trains instead.

Day#2: Heartbreaking and so sad. I hope the Summit brings voices to those people who have lost family members with this violence.

CIA/Pentagon: Both clashing, and " Most of the things that the CIA does don't need to be done in the first place. It's a waste of taxpayer money and there are deaths that don't have to happen." "They don't even know what's going on on the ground." Very good video, I'm passing this on to friends.

Interfaith Coalition: I'm glad to see this group help others to increase the Living Wage, and for folks to get decent benefits, and getting unionized w/retribution from employers. It's taking a positive step in the right direction for all workers.

Our Water, Our Future: I want to move here!!! What a great video, posted, and shared with others to spread awareness, that it can happen anywhere (corporate greed). What a beautiful place!!!

Thank you, JL for this post.

  3. A fine collection.
