Here are the results of our “Justice Appointment” poll.  Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories.   Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population.  Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking or will of the national majority.

I voted for Hillary.I think Senate Republicans may pretend willingness to compromise as a stall tactic, but will not actually allow a vote on anyone left of TeaBag Thomas or Scalito.  Then, as much as I prefer Bernie, I think Hillary will be the nest President.

The New Poll is up and is designs to make you think.  Enjoy and VOTE!!

  1. Some very intelligent people here are pretty sure the next President will be Hillary.  I, on the other hand, am terrified that if it ends up Hillary v. Trump, that Hillary will lose, as all the polls are showing.  They are also showing that Bernie could beat Bernie handily, but the Democratic establishment is as terrified of Bernie as the Republican establishment is of Trump.  As far as I can see, it's still wide open.

As far as an Obama nominee – even if 100% of them come to their senses and realize they would be better off with his nominee than with the nominee of a new Democratic President, they are still so racist, they will never confirm an Obama nominee.  Because Obama.

  2. I thought along the same lines you did, TomCat. But that was a while ago and the Drunpf monster is still going strong. I hope Joanne's fear doesn't become reality, but people should let themselves be led by the polls so much. If anything, it should induce the Democrats to get out there ande VOTE! Just think what'll happen with Drumpf as president, the GOP in utter disarray, not knowing whether it's coming or going and SCOTUS with a Republican majority or 4 – 4 + a TP justice.

I hear the number of American applications to move to Canada is rapidly growing. Soon the Canadians will have to build a wall to keep Americans out.

  3. I think enough pressure will ramp up that Grassley and the GOP will honor the constitution as Scalia would have advised himself is what I said as I voted.  Grassley have a viable opponent in his race now has just increased that pressure.

    • Even ofr Snake in the Grassley's committee, approves a nominee, there will be no vote unless Bought Bitch Mitch schedules it.  Then, any Republican can demand cloture.

  4. I didn't vote because I was afraid it might be the last one!

  5. I voted Obama, although no comment.  Republicans really need to do their constitutionally mandated job of vetting and approving judicial appointments.  After all, if the US considers itself to be a nation of laws, then it needs to follows those laws and have judges in place.

  6. Thanks all!!  Hugs!!

  7. Hey! Have a news flash! Trump ain't a gonna be the next President from the RepukkklicanTs! Oh, yeah. That's OLD news! Sorry!
