  1. Jeb! Bush 'suspends' campaign (drops out) after South Carolina loss

Please "Clap, clap, clap" for Jeb! "Dumya" Bush.

We’re going to have to bid farewell to Jeb! Bush’s exclamation point, because—currently mired in fourth place in South Carolina after finishing sixth in Iowa and fourth in New Hampshire—he is bowing to reality and leaving the Republican presidential primary.

Establishment Republicans will be jumping up and down with joy that now they get to support Marco Rubio without angering the Bush family.

This now leaves Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich and Carson for the GOP nomination.

TC: Bed rest and suspended animation is recommended.

  2. I agree with Jim.

The scary thing is Trump's foreign policy statements exposing Bush, seeking two state solution for Israel, opposing endless war seem better than Clinton's…

  3. 5:05  Orchids to you (Nero Wolfe in-joke).  Strike 3 should have listened to Mom.

Cartoon – But I thought Obama was a time traveler!

  4. Hope you get to feeling better real soon.  (But it sounds like it's getting close to the time to consider seeing your new PCP.)

  5. Thanks, Jim for your links, LOVE Samantha Bee!!  I heard about this last night…YAY!!

Here's some news from Texas, and it's GOOD!! …''President Barack Obama will attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Austin on March 11, the first day of the South by Southwest festival, according to a page on the DNC website.'' I'm so excited, though I will be lining the street as I don't have the money to be up close and friendly with our wonderful President. Tickets range from the $250 “general ticket guest”. It's going to be packed!

Gee, I hope that you get to feeling better and soon. Relax, drink lots of fluids, and rest!! Thanks, Tom.

  6. Stay in bed as long as you need to, TomCat. Meanwhile I'll do the claping I owe Jeb for his exit: clap, clap, clap (done with limp wrists). Get better soon!

Thanks for the links, Jim. The milk appears to have gone sour.

  7. 3:28  Did I pick the quickest vein to travel through?

  8. This is a great day. Or yesterday was! No Shrubs left!!! The wedding is getting easier!!

Hope you get to feeling BETTER!!!

  9. Glad the shrub is gone, but I read today that his contributors are switching to Rubio.  He is the only R. candidate that, I believe, can make a credible run for the  office.  Now that the gloves are off between Hillary and Bernie and the DNC is obviously supporting Hillary, I worry about our outcome.

I agree with Nameless, time to contact your DR.

  10. Puzzle — 2:55  No Jerry, not the quickest! . . . but all was not in vain as you did beat JD and TC!

Cartoon — It is amusing that what we think of as communism today is not true communism.  Marx and Engels are likely spinning in their graves at the thought.  Today there are ruling "elites" that take and use more than their share.

    • Apparently there is a chest infection going around.  My mother just had it and required a course of antibiotics to clear it up.  Please see your PCP (now that is awkward!).  And in the interim, drink lots of water (no coffee) and juice.

  11. Rubio!.The laziest man in Washington,Does not even go to the armed services meetings, And he is on the committee!, and ran away from a meeting <wih his supporters last Friday. Articulate he is NOT. One more thought. The heads of State and politicians in Civilized Western countries, must be getting sore ribs laughing at the contenders, .Who are hardly Presidential material.

    Take care of yourself T.C.

  12. Pat B is it such a god idea for the president to go to Austin ? remember the last time a President went to texas ?  be well T C and take it slow and easy .

  13. I read a fairly recent biography of Marx, and expect that the Manifesto is as relevant today as it was then…think of the 1%.  But, it's been covered over with so much misuse and layers of emotional hysteria!
