Here are the results of our “Environmental Agreement” poll.  Politics Plus Polls are not scientific, because those who respond are not balanced according to demographic categories.   Therefore, we do not accurately reflect the makeup of the US population.  Nevertheless, our polls are usually factually accurate, and more often than not, they reflect thinking or will of the national majority.

II voted that it’s a step in the right direction, although I also liked that it could save the planet, if Republicans prevented from sabotaging it.  I was shocked that two actually voted that Republicans have a Constitutional right to pollute.

The new poll is up.  Please vote!

  1. What is up with those two votes? Who in the heck would vote that way? In torn between its a step in the right direction and it could save the planet if, and that's a BIG IF, the RepukkklicanTs don't screw it up! I think both apply. Just wait and see how the politics of it get slandered!

  2. My guess is that the 2 votes regarding the GOPigs const. right to screw everybody with their pollution(s), had to do with the tounge in cheek concept that the GOPigies see it that way, rather than the voters themselves.

  3. I certainly interpreted the the two sore thumb votes as snark.  And snark with a point.  If the GOP screams it loudly enough it will most definitely hurt.

May I say how sad it is that we cannot even take a few minutes to celebrate a hard-fought victory without immediately worrying that it isn't enough, it's too late anyway, we are already doomed?  True though all of that is, how can we keep our strength up to fight if we can't celebrate SOMETHING?

  4. I said "I agree with Joanne D. I HOPE it will save the planet & that RepubliCONs are kept from sabotaging it…if it's not already too late. "

  5. I voted "a step in the right direction" but think it is the baby step of a toddler very laste in walking. And it certainly isn't helping that one of its parents still thinks it doesn't need to walk at all. It'll be fine carried around leasurly for the rest of its life.

  6. Thanks all.  A step in the right direction is the way to more bigger steps.

  7. Rubio, member of the Armed Services commitee, Does NOT attend!. What a great leader for our great armed services. (along with the fact that he has the worst attendance  record in either house).and some VOTE for him!!. Holy Cow Americans!.get your heads on straight.(also Repugs are NOT scientist,s Does this mean that they cannot even read the FACTS??) or do not want to!.

  8. think about it people , according to most republicians you have a constitual right to do any thing your twisted little mind wants . now legalily that can be a whole different ball game . of course you see how they have stacked the SCOUSA maybe legaliy it dosen't matter either . i would like to think # 3 mattered the most of all of them . be well TC

  9. I voted for number 3, you have to start somewhere!

  10. How come I can't access the new poll no matter how many times I click on the link?
