I’m sitting in my motel room.  Their wi-fi is mud.  Yesterday I had an executive planning meeting.  This afternoon is the annual meeting of our Board of Directors.  This evening is my guys’ annual Awards Banquet, a social occasion with them and their families.  I’ll be home tomorrow afternoon.  I’m tired, but I love this.  It’s who I am.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 5:08 (average 4:49).  To do it click here.   How did you do?

This is OSP.

  1. "… I love this.  It’s who I am."  I am glad that you are who you are!  . . . I am sure I could say this on behalf of all of us!  We luvs our Puddy Tat!

  2. 2:32 all the fishies in the mountains stream are safe from ourhungry TomCat.

We all loves you but you have to stop eating all the puzzles.

    • 2:50  Oh that water was so cooling on my feet that I tarried too long!  But so far, that's 2 of us blocking the Tatster from getting fresh fishies!  I suspect his time has to do with using his laptop.

  3. What a difference you're making in so many lives! Enjoy the banquet.  Thank you for all you do.

  4. TomCat, you have no idea how much the inmates appreciate what you do! They need what you do more than they know. Your interactions with them will make all the difference in the world to them when they are released!
As a family member of a former inmate of the OKDOC, the more they are exposed to outside influences that have their best interests at heart, the better they do once they are released. My thanks to you for every second you spend with them!!
Kudos, TomCat! You are a ONE IN A MILLION!

  5. 3:42 average (still) 4:49.  It's always slower on a laptop, even wtih decent wi-fi and a portable mouse.  There might have been some wildlife lurking, but you are going to be fed anyway so who cares.

My prison visit is tomorrow,  I won't be back until evening myself.  The one I visit is not nearly as good looking and is within about a quarter mile of potentially exploding oil trains. Awful picture:

I know I am not doing as much good as you do either, though I am doing some.  I love that you say – "It’s who I am." – so true.  Do enjoy the banquest – based on tales of past banquets, I know you will – and the food will probably be the least of the enjoyment, even if gourmet.

  6. Enjoy the Banquet and visits with the families.

  7. And it's good for many that you are who you are!

TECH NOTE: I hope TC (and, well, everyone) uses some type of VPN, proxy or encryption software when they've got to use ANY Wi-Fi.  I'm personally fond of HotSpot Shield – rated #1 in their category by CNET:

    http://download.cnet.com/hotspot-shield/

… AND I came across an interesting article at the NY Times comparing the Senate voting records of Hillary & Bernie:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/28/upshot/the-senate-votes-that-divided-hillary-clinton-and-bernie-sanders.html?rref=upshot&abt=0002&abg=1&smid=tw-upshotnyt&_r=2

(Again – if you're up close to your 10 FREE monthly NY Times visits and want to avoid their paywall, just Google something like this:

["hillary clinton" "bernie sanders" senate voting record site:nytimes.com]

    • I find CNET very dependable also.  I have something, but I'll look into your suggestion for when Daylight time ends and I need to use mine again.  Thanks, Nameless, as always.

    • Thanks for the link to Cnet, and the tip about the Times.

  8. TC, who you are is why all of us hang out here!

  9. Puzzle 2.35 – I know you will all have a wonderful time at the banquet – God bless you and all who work so selflessly to make the world a better place for everyone!

  10. So great to hear that you are enjoying yourself, TomCat, doing what you're good at, what gives you a sense of who you are and what a valued member of the community you are. I hope you can keep on doing this for many, many more years to come and enjoy many more banquets at your guys' side.

  11. Thanks everyone!  Hugs on the way through.
