Maher

I don’t get HBO, so the only time I get to enjoy Bill Maher is when I can find a video clip, and when I do, I share them with you.  This will be all there is for some time, as Friday was Bill’s season finale.  However, I did find two clips, both of which are hilarious.

In the first, bill took on immigration reform.

If all immigrants looked like Heidi Klum,..

…Bubba Bagger would have threatened impeachment for deporting them.

In the second, Bill offered up his plan to save Christmas.

From this clip, Bill proves that he has Republicans in his family.  Only through experience could he know so well what they are like at holiday gatherings.  Any plan to forego gift giving must make an exception for cats.  My wish list includes a roast dawg to give the birds and pigs a rest this year, laundry that does itself, and a pretty kitty to scratch my back after the feast.

I look forward to Bill’s return.

  1. Bill continues to have the wit and wisdom so sadly missing in so many  (I'd add Republicans to the end of that but that's kind of assumed, isn't it?)

  2. Thanks Tom.  Anytime you can bring to us, clips of Bill Maher, is great.  I cannot afford HBO, I can barely afford cable and internet. Bill just keeps going up.   Bill Maher is always right on and so funny.

  3. A comedic genius!

  4. As for the remark of Ms Freeland, who said that America will take immigrants and Europe doesn't want them 'that's why Europe is fading' – Europe and America have very similar areas, yet Europe has around 750 million people in it – which is WHY Europe is having such a fuss about immigrants – yet America has around 315 million people in a similar area….. look up your facts Ms Freeland – we have more than twice the USA's population!  Looking her up on the net, she appears to have written for the Financial Times in the past and is now a Liberal  MP in Canada – I hope she gets her facts in better order in the rest of her life.

I like the gentleman who said – why are Cruz and Rubio against immigration?!!  [Answers on a postcard, please…].

Thanks for Bill Maher, TC, he is always good value!

  5. Oh – the season finale – good.  Your "parting shots" title scared me.  If I had to lose both Bill M.s at the same time I would seriously consider taking out the cookies and putting the head in.

And speaking of heads – I suspect it's possible to tell who a person is from what makes his or her head explode.

  6. I have to forgo the viewing of the clips, because I haven’t seen the episode yet. And I will, somehow!
Season finale??? Rats, drat, double drats!!! I have to watch Bill M. EVERY week! He made an appearance in OKC and I HAD to go! Needless to say, it was not a sell-out in Oklahoma!! But, I HAD A BLAST!! Loved seeing someone in OK that was LIBERAL!!

  7. The audio of his shows are readily available.  I listen to them while walking the dogs.  To bad they don't have the video also.  I guess HBO wants you to pay for that.

  8. I am thankful this week to TC for starting the US Thanksgiving week with Bill in a double dose and a proposed solution to problematic family and the best position the GOP could've taken, yet skipped, on immigration LOL…good points on per capital per square mile Pat A.

  9. I don't get HBO either, but I do enjoy Bill Maher when I see his clips.  The one about immigration reform was great and I was surprised to hear Chris Matthews praising the president.  I agree with him, why are senators with the last name Rubio and Cruz opposing immigration?

Heidi Klum:  Yes they would have been outraged at her deportation, but if she stayed they would have expected her to cook and clean house and work for minimum wage.

I think his plan for saving Christmas is excellent.  The gift giving is out of hand with everyone I know and it is a chore to shop, wrap, cook, etc, for a few minutes unwrapping gifts and a few more to eat too much.  I have tried to get my family to make donations to local charities, except for the kids, but so far, no luck with that one.  I have all that I need and can't think of anything that I want, and most of my family and friends are the same.  Christmas has turned into one big commercial.

TC, if I had known you wanted a kitten, I could have provided one.  I fed a stray cat, who kindly presented me with five kittens, who are now three months old and have been aggravating everyone I know to take one.  Gave two away last week, and a rescue at a no kill shelter has agreed to take the rest.  Her bounty made me a total of ten cats.  If you really want a kitten, always contact me and I can hook you up.LOL

    • please make sure all of your new owners get their cat spayed and give a nice big donation to the shelter as they are probably on kitten overload.  but i'm sure you know all of that, and thank you for taking care of the kitties!

  10. Bill is spot on about immigration reform.  And to answer Edies question : … why are senators with the last name Rubio and Cruz opposing immigration?

My answer: just look what the US got when it let those 2 yahoos into the country!  They do not want more of the same.

And Christmas?  Do not get me started on that.

  11. Thanks all.  Just woke up.  ARGH!

  12. bill will  be back in the middle of jan.  what can i say about the xmas ditty?  bill was spot on!  i watch cable more and more, and hbo is one of the best.  they're not afraid of showing controversy topics, i guess that's because of corporate sponsers.  bill speaks for me and i'm ok with that.
