Most Republican success in resent years has come from burying the electorate in an avalanche of lies, and doing that costs a lot of money.  To get it, many Republican politicians and candidates make an annual pilgrimage to the Koch brothers’ luxury retreat.  In the past, even SS Scalia and TEAbag Thomas have attended,  There they become Koch suckers by promising the Kochs and their assembly of 0.1% vulture capitalists what ways they will take our wealth and transfer it to them.  Exactly what is said at the Koch Sucking conventions is secret… or at least it used to be.

It's not what Republican candidates said that has Democrats salivating, but who they said it to

There was little revealed in the new, illicitly recorded audio tapes of top Senate Republican candidates addressing a group of high-dollar Republican donors, but their very existence may give Democrats a needed boost going into the fall’s midterm elections.

On Tuesday, The Nation released audio of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell addressing a June meeting in Dana Point, Calif. convened by the Koch Brothers, the billionaire energy magnates who have become Democratic bogeymen this fall. Early Wednesday, the Huffington Post followed with audio from a trio of Senate hopefuls: Iowa state Sen. Joni Ernst and Arkansas Rep. Tom Cotton, and Colorado Rep. Cory Gardner… [emphasis original]

Look what these corrupt Republicans are promising.  Here’s the Bought Bitch Mitch recording.

He promised the Koch Brothers everything they want by taking it away from us.

Here's the recording with the other three.

One thing is clear, the Koch Brothers are spending a lot of money to get what they want, and to get that money, Republican candidates and politicians will do whatever they want.

We don't have their money but we have our voices, and we must use them to counter the Koch suckers' lies with truth.

  1. There sure is a lot of ass-kissin' and Kock-suckin' going on these days. They aren't even discrete about it anymore. I don't think any of them are going to try to walk back what they were caught on tape saying. Maybe they get more money if they are blatant about their allegiance to the Evil Duo. If so, Joni Ernst must be at the top of their list. These TeapublicanTs are worse than the Flying Monkeys in the Wizard of Oz.

  2. OK, officlally yuck.  May the voters have the sense to keep them ALL out of the Senate.  Which means may the voters who have sense turn out in droves!  Angry people do vote.  Democrats are peaceful – perhaps too peaceful.  We need to get very angry indeed this year.

  3. It will amaze me if the republian/teaparty take control of the senate and keeps control of congress.  If they do I will fine it a slap in the face.  And all these people who whine and whine and still let these power money hungery racist keep what we all know is destorying our country.

  4. Ewwwwy!!! Just listening to Yurtle the Turtle makes my skin crawl!! For Pete’s sake, people, GET OUT AND VOTE!!!! We have to retire these obtuse obstructionists and get on with making things right! The US has a lot of things that need to be done for the good of everyone!!

  5. In Carrie B's (Care2) message I received, there was a "poster" of something Bernie Sanders said:

"There are 3 major political organisations in this country: the Republican Party, the Democratic Party, and the Koch Brothers Party.  With billions to spend on campaigns, think tanks, and "educational" organisations, the Koch brothers are the most powerful.  We must overturn Citizens United, move to public funding of elections and pass real tax reform."

Based on what we see these days, I think Bernie is spot on, especially when he says that the Kochs are the most powerful.  In essence they have the Republicanus/Teabaggers lining up to pay obeisance for fear they lose their little opportunity to feed at the public trough without doing anything, and lose any accrued power.

One thing I will never understand is why senators etc are called "senator" for life whether they retired or were retired by the electorate.  Just another power trip to spring upon the unsuspecting.  There is that notion that if you were a Congress Critter you were someone, someone to be revered.  I am not convinced of that, and never will be, after the performance, or lack thereof, of the Congress, especially the obstructionist Republicanus/Teabaggers.

I can't vote in November because I am not American, but I encourage every American to vote, especially minorities, the elderly, first time voters etc.  VOTE and demand change to political finance laws that currently swallow your vote.  Demand change to put people back into "We the people".

GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!  GET OUT THE VOTE!

  6. Thanks all.  I did post this article to Care2, and it was receiving posaitive comments until it disappeared.  I suspect Republicans spread the word to flag it, because they don't want people to know what their party is doing.  I will put a special link in today's card.  Kudos to Joanne for putting a link to this in the Open Thread there.

    • On another article a couple of days ago where you used "Koch sucker" in the title, a Care2 person said it was inappropriate.  He probably reported it and got it pulled.  You may have to start doing a "Daily Kos" and not putting the real title in the link.  They do that because of search engines but someone having a poker up his – ahem, could also be a reason.  (I could not bring myself to cal hima "member.")

  7. Thanks for the link to this article TC, I've been rather under the weather and didn't think that I could have looked for it on PP – now that REALLY proves that being extra ill affects my brain power!

It was heroic of the people who recorded these segments to do it – I blench at the thought of what the security would have done to them if they were caught….

Thanks to Lynn for reminding me of that wonderful picture in Carrie B's news featuring Bernie Sanders and  his quotation about the three parties in America today – God bless that wonderful man forever!

I guess this makes them Koch Suckers. 😳

  9. I am glad you reposted it, because I missed it on C2.  I shared it with a lot of Ky friends.

  10. Thanks all.  I learned from Care2's weekly digest that this article had veen noted (voted up) by 22 people before they censored it..

  11. The Republicans keep putting their foot in their mouth and then shooting themselves in the foot.
There are so many revelations coming out about the misbehavior of our “beloved” GOP members (Krispy, Rick “Dick Tracy” Perry, Scott Walker, etc.).
Maybe the “Blueberries” will actually come out and vote.
Without at least a 60% voter turnout in Nov., we are doomed to two more years of economic stagnation for most of us and the further destruction of our rights.
