I’m a little groggy after sleeping all day yesterday, but at long last, I’m back with a full set of articles for you.  Lets hope it sticks.  I’m current with replies to recent articles. Tomorrow appears routine.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 6:19 (not a typo)(average 5:38).  To do it, click here.  How did you do?

Short Takes:

From Reuters: Over loud objections from Democrats, Montana’s Republican-controlled Senate on Friday voted to put proposals on the 2014 ballot that would tighten voter registration and restrict the rights of third parties to compete in general elections.

Scheduling surprise votes at times when key Democrats will be absent is becoming a GOP standard means to overcome the popular will.

From YouTube: Bill Maher Trashes Libertarians: Movement Went ‘Nuts,’ ‘Intellectually Stuck In Their Teen Years’

As always, Maher is spot on, and he got a good laugh out of Bernie. πŸ™‚

From Right Wing Watch: The Family Research Council has caught wind of a new theory percolating in the right-wing blogosphere and in certain circles on Capitol Hill: that the Department of Health and Human Services is using a new Obamacare rule to empower the long-defunct ACORN to commit voter intimidation and fraud.

Since ACORN no longer exists, here’s what people who actually believe this Republican lie have to say: "Ba-a-a-a-a-a-a!"

  1. Loved the cartoon TC!

  2. 3:29 Honest, it's my actual time. The pieces just fell into place out of the clear blue.

  3. Glad you're back full time again. Now stay healthy!

Reuters ~ "The measures, which are expected to be approved by the Republican-majority House, do not need approval from the Democratic governor. They would go before Montana voters in November of next year."                                Hopefully, Montana voters have the presence of mind to vote these measures down.

    YouTube ~ Brilliant!

Right Wing Watch ~ You have got to be kidding me! People actually believe this?

    Cartoon ~ Schitzophrenic perhaps?

  4. Puzzle — 3:51 Leaf me alone.  I need some time to myself.

Reuters — Restricting a third party from running?  Wouldn't thatbe unconstitutional?  I can see if you don't get the paperwork in on time not being given a place on the ballot, but to restrict the right to run seems undemocratic.  Oh, palm to forehead, I forgot . . . these are Republican/Teabaggers!  Enough said.

YouTube — I might have put it ". . . Movement Went ‘Nuts,’ ‘Intellectually Stuck With Their Heads Up Their Asses’' — Very funny and really enjoyed seeing Bernie laughing!

Right Wing Watch — The only nuts are the ones between their ears!

    Cartoon — Good one!
