I’m with Daily Kos!

I trust you remember when Michele Bachmann made the ridiculous claim that the Obama Administration is infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, specifically accusing Huma Abedin.  Daily Kos is campaigning for her opponent Jim Graves.  Not surprisingly, I’m with Daily Kos.

Bachmann_Cake

Daily Kos really wants to boot Rep. Michele Bachman out of office. That much is clear by your vote yesterday, when out of a field of five candidates, you gave her opponent Jim Graves 41 percent of the Hell to Pay vote.

What was so motivating to so many Daily Kos readers? This ad against Graves.

And what brought that ad on? Jim Graves took exception when Bachmann said that that Muslim Brotherhood had infiltrated the federal government, infiltrated the State Department through an aide to Hillary Clinton. She’s said that her colleague in her state’s delegation, Rep. Keith Ellison, has ties to the organization. Remember that these allegations sent Sen. John McCain to the Senate floor to roundly denounce Bachmann’s allegations…

Inserted from <Daily Kos>

Here’s what McCain had to say.

Now, I rarely agree with John McCain, but I have to thank him for the integrity to speak out against Bachmann’s bigotry.

Michele Bachman deserves an opportunity to join the unemployment line, more than even most Republicans.

  1. I cannot vote for Jim Graves, he's in another district, HOWEVER…I have donated to him twice.  Anyone can donate and it is in the INTEREST of the entire NATION to vote out instigators like Michele Bachmann..we need to give Obama the Senate & House that will work with him~Give what you can, every bit helps. In Minnesota, Jim Graves has a good shot at winning, but Bachmann has released some nasty untruthful ads…you know her reputation.  We all need to donate to the BLUE whereever there is a close race.

    • Wonderful advice, Zada! Give whenever you can to defeat the RepublicanTs. Let's give President Obama a Congress that will work with him and not against this country.

    • Very well said, Zada.  I have given more this year than I did when I was working.

  2. Bachmann was all over the news on MSNBC this AM because she has outspent everyone running for a seat in the House this year except for John Boehner. That's not even counting what she spent when she was in the RepublicanT primary earlier this year. She's running against an incumbent because her district was eliminated in the redistricting. Do you think they really thought she had a chance to be POTUS so they did it that way?

  3. There is nothing that can be added to Sen McCain statement ;
Michelle Bachmann is an absolute fool,  she fully deserves to be sent to the dustbin of history , a brief footnote in the list of teabag bigots ,

  4. Michele Bachman deserves an opportunity to join the unemployment line, more than even most Republicans.

I rarely agree with anything McCain says but, I'll give him this one….

  5. McCain's on a different page, but he is fundamentally a man of integrity – Bachman is a PMS nightmare – or is that menopause, or is she a "pad" – whatever she is there are special disposals for her kind – "please don't dispose of in the the toilet" – she's already clogged up Congress!

  6. Like a stopped clock, even Bachmann can be correct every once in awhile:

"He cannot beat Obama. It's not going to happen,"

  7. Guano Girl should be permanently committed to a mental health facility.  She and Romney are probably the two biggest national security threats — they both open mouth and put both feet in, all the way up to their respective asses.  Damn, those stiletto heels must be really razor sharp on the mouth and throat!

I'll give John McCain credit as a gentleman and a man of integrity on this one and on calling out a woman who referred to Mr Obama as a Kenyan Muslim.  I certainly don't agree with his politics, but neither of the situations are about politics.  They deal with stupid, ill informed people.

  8. God I was hoping that I would see that God awful woman's faces (Micelle Bachmann) until after the election where she a) can blather about anything she wants or b) (better) be voted out of office.  She does realize that her initials line up to the Muslim Brotherhood.   HAHAHAHAHAHA.  She has no skills as noted by the increasing rhetoric against Hoda.  And what evidence does she have?  Is this the McCarthy trials all over again?  That bitch has never told the truth in her life and NOW we are supposed to believer her?  I'll help her pack things to get out of the House.

  9. That speech sounds like the John McCain I used to admire and respect.
