After getting yesterday’s articles posted and the links distributed, I went out to run several errands and caught up on some much needed sleep. Today I have an echocardiogram. After I leave this morning, I’ll be off caffeine until after tomorrow’s cardiac stress test. ARGH!!! :-(  Depriving me of coffee is like depriving a Republican of Teabuggery! I’m not current on replies to comments. I may be able to catch up when I return, depending on how tired I am.

Jig Zone Puzzle:

Today’s took me 3:09 (average 4:33). To do it, click here. How did you do?

Not voting against Romney and Ryan is the same as voting for Akin.

  1. Just a thought on the firestorm courtesy of Todd Akin and his Repubican Party on "Legitimate" Rape and Pregnancy:

It’s clear that Repubicans are hell-bent on denying women the right to maintain the integrity of their own bodies.
Once you decide it’s mandatory to put a legislator between a gynecologist and her patient, you've already violated the patient.

  2. 4:02  Not even close!  I am scratched from this puzzle.

  3. Good luck on your tests TC.

    Puzzle — 3:22 Meow!

MoveOn — That sure does look like the Rmoney plan.  Everybody should pay their fair share!  I just remembered that Ann Rmoney said her husband didn't take a salary when he was governor of Massachusetts.  Does that mean he won't take a salary if he wins the WH?  I don't think I want to find out.

    Vote Democratic 2012!!!!!     Vote Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

MSNBC — Ryan and Rmoney have to distance themselves from  Atkin because his views are like a cancer and will eat away at their campaign.  Part of the problem is that both Ryan and Rmoney believe as does Atkin in 'no abortion' (HR 3) and 'fetal personhood' (HR 212), both bills that Ryan cosponsored with Atkin,  There is absolutely no honesty in their campaign.

YouTube — I saw this yesterday and found myself saying 'Are they serious?'  Having said that, anyone, but especially women, who votes for a Republican/Teabagger other than the 1% who one might expect to vote that way, is NUTS!

Cartoon — The Republican Magic Wand!  Hmmmmm. . . .

    • Good one!

It doesn't matter.  His salary would be way less than his tax cut.

      None, whatsoever.

It was clear they weren't't serious to me.

  5. 3:11 Meow. Looks like TomCat is TopCat today.

  6. Thanks for the handy, dandy chart. Easy to remember; hard to drill into numbskulls heads.

There is no way Ryan can distance himself from his stance on rape versus "forcible rape". He's an idiotic and like Akin, he is probably clinically insane.

I love that ad. I can't stop laughing. Why do RepublicanTs feel it's okay to control what goes on in a woman's vagina but it's wrong to control banks and businesses?

  7. Randiot Ryan is being handled very carefully. For a guy who is supposed to be so super-smart, this is mighty strange handling.

  8. Like Akin said why are so upset at me?.  This has always been the way we think.  The only good thing that comes out of this The American people will get to see what the Republians have been trying to hide for ever.  It would seen that Republian women believe that when a woman has an abortion she has no problem dealing with it.  It is be beyond me how anyone would think that is an easy choice.

May R/R go down down down
