Romney To Go ChickenHawking

Willard and his cronies have a problem.  GW Bush and Dick Cheney have the lowest approval ratings of any administration in US history.  They are responsible for so many crimes and disasters that association with them is a political albatross.  However, Willard wants the money they can raise, so this Thursday, he’s going ChickenHawking at the Cheney Ranch.

war criminal2Former Vice President Dick Cheney will hold a high-dollar fundraiser for Mitt Romney at his Wyoming home on Thursday, according to an official with the Romney campaign.

Donors will pay $30,000 per couple to dine at Cheney’s home in Teton Pines, a Wyoming country club featuring an Arnold Palmer-designed golf course. Expected guests include prominent oil, private equity and farming executives.

Also among the expected guests, according to a report in the Washington Post, is Foster Friess, the investment manager and Rick Santorum backer who drew fire for his joke during the primary that birth control costs could be lowered by having women hold an aspirin between their knees. Feiess spent nearly $2 million to support Santorum’s primary effort, but announced in April he was swinging his support to Romney…

Rachel Maddow and Steve Kornacki discussed Willard’s attempt to grab the money and run and the very extensive overlap between the Bush/Cheney Regime and Willard’s organization.

I find it hilarious that even Christine "I am not a witch" O’Dingbat got a press release for her endorsement, but Crawford Caligula didn’t.

It’s quite clear that Willard is Bush-Lite. Just like Bush, moron that he is, became a puppet for his party’s extremists, so would Romney. Why else would he have surrounded himself with the same handlers and advisors.  Because so many ties exist, we should tie Willard to the most unpopular administration in US history, the Bush/Cheney regime, at every opportunity.

  1. We can only hope that Chicken hawk Cheney's endorsement will be a death knell for Mittens.

  2. I am still confused as how Bush/Cheney got elected not once (well, the first one Gore gave up or got paid off or threatened or something…), but twice!!!!????

    • Sam, it came down to Ohio, where Republicans controlled the state government.  Polling machines were pulled from Democratic districts and taken to Republicans. Many had to return to work before reaching the front of the long lines.  In some Democratic districts the vote count was overwhelming for Bush with Bush getting more votes than there were registered voters.  He stole both elections.

      • Wouldn't that have been obstructing the vote and something that the DOJ should have looked at.?  Having said that, I guess it was a Republican/Teabagger DOJ.  It just seems that this should have been illegal, certainly immoral.  Could states do that again this year, or even not install enough machines in the first place?

Willard Romney, Dick Cheney and George W. Bush all avoided Vietnam….

  6. To Samantha,
Bush and Cheney, the g o p pukes, stole the election in 2004 with the help of corrupt people and voting machines. They were also responsible for getting legitimate voters off the voting rolls.

    • Welcome Jim. πŸ™‚

      I agree completely.

  7. My take on Rmoney's attitude towards the Cheney fund raiser was rather like stepping in dog crap — he wants to shake it off his shoe because it stinks so badly and he can't do it fast enough, but there was no way around that pile of crap.

I hope that the press and people in general don't overlook this little shindig of Cheney's because with an end of term approval rating of 13% for Cheney and 22% for Baby Bush, any connection should be poison to Rmoney.  Baby Bush obviously got the memo from Prince Rove-r to make himself scarce when it comes to this year's candidate, Rmoney, but did Cheney not get the same memo?

  8. Funny how Rmoney has no problem taking the money Cheney shilled for him …
BUT refused to be photographed with him!

    • Well, even I wouldn't blame Rmoney for refusing to be photographed with him.  I wouldn't unless I was flipping him tthe bird.
