I must say that I was looking forward to see Elizabeth Warren, Main Street champion, and Scott Brown (R-MA), Bankster butt buddy, to debate. Sadly that will not happen. Brown has refused to debate Warren and made some very questionable excuses for that refusal.
U.S. Sen. Scott Brown said he will not participate in a debate proposed by Vicki Kennedy, the widow of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, after debate organizers called his demand that Kennedy refrain from endorsing a candidate “unprecedented” and “inappropriate.”
"We respect Vicki Kennedy's decision but we regret that we cannot accept a debate invitation from someone who plans to endorse Scott Brown's opponent,” said Brown campaign manager Jim Barnett. “The Kennedy Institute cannot hold itself out as a nonpartisan debate sponsor while the president of its board of trustees gets involved in the race on behalf of one of the candidates."
Vicki Kennedy had invited Brown, the Republican incumbent, and Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren to participate in a debate sponsored by the University of Massachusetts Boston and the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate on Sept. 27. Warren accepted the invitation last week. Barnett said on Monday that Brown would accept the debate invitation, but only if Kennedy pledged to remain neutral and not endorse a candidate for the remainder of the Senate race. The seat was held by Kennedy’s husband, Democrat Edward Kennedy, from 1962 until his death from brain cancer in 2009…

Martha Coakley was right. It’s a shame that she was such a weak candidate for the seat, because MA Democrats took toe seat for granted.

[2] Brown's demand for a Swimsuit Competition – something that he felt sure, given his past nude modeling for Cosmo's centerfold, he would be sure to win

Crap! Another Republican/Teabagger 'Scott'! Is there no end to them? There is something about that name that I find repugnant.
So the conditions are 1) Vicki Kennedy, Ted Kennedy's wife, must remain neutral and cannot endorse anyone for the remainder of the race; and 2) MSNBC and Rachel Maddow could not host the debate.
So Brown is in essence saying to Kennedy that she can't make her allegiances known, thereby in my mind, trying to remove her freedom of speech. Of course she has a choice, and she made the right choice. And then to say MSNBC and Rachel Maddow can't host the debate? As Rachel has said, she and MSNBC were never asked to do that so this should not be an issue for Brown.
So could it be that Brown is a scared little boy in short pants, afraid of the girls? Certainly Elizabeth Warren is intelligent, committed to the middle class, more articulate, and doesn't need to put on airs to feel good. Scott Brown is likely to wet his political pants if he ever agreed to debate Elizabeth Warren!

Before the recall election, Brown's office was robo calling citizens to tell them that if they signed a petition, they didn't need to vote. Why are we letting him get away with this?
