As the stage is set for recall in Fitzwalkerstan, formerly Wisconsin, Fartfuhrer Walker has become all the more dependent on the largesse of the corporate criminals, to whom he sold-out his regime’s tortured subjects, especially the Koch Brothers. However, the Koch Brothers have become so blatant, it appears that they have actually admitted to violating campaign finance laws, as the following article by John Nichols demonstrates. If so, Walker’s Koch may be cut off.
Billionaire campaign donor David Koch has rarely spoken in public about the central role he has played in the election of Scott Walker as governor of Wisconsin, the defense of Walker’s embattled governorship and, now, Walker’s desperate attempt to defeat the recall election that more than one million Wisconsinites have demanded.
Until now. And that has raised fundamental legal and political questions about the manipulation of Wisconsin politics by out-of-state billionaires.
It is no secret that Koch and his billionaire brother, Charles, have long been a Walker supporters. Their Koch Industries PAC was the second-highest donor to Walker’s 2010 campaign, donating $43,000. The PAC also gave $1 million to the Republican Governors Association, which streamed spending into Wisconsin on behalf of Walker’s election.
And the Americans for Prosperity groups the Kochs founded and financed certainly seemed to be active on Walker’s behalf.
But AFP and its foundation could not campaign openly for Walker or other candidates, as they are tax exempt organizations operating under laws that protect civic and educational charities.
So it was incredible when David Koch admitted in an interview with the Palm Beach Post that he planned to support Walker with spending by AFP. “We’re helping him, as we should,” Koch said of Walker. “We’ve gotten pretty good at this over the years. We’ve spent a lot of money in Wisconsin. We’re going to spend more.”
The Post added: “By ‘we’ he says he means Americans for Prosperity, which is spending about $700,000 on an ‘It’s working’ television ad buy in the state.”
Could Koch really be admitting to a violation for the Internal Revenue Service code that says organizations such as AFP are “absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office”?… [emphasis added]

Under the terms of 501(c)(3), a tax exempt organization may support issues, but not individuals. Since David Koch admitted using AFP funds for an individual campaign, he has committed a crime that DOJ must investigate and charge, requiring Fartfuhrer Walker to reimburse all funds so spent.
In the meantime let us continue to stand in solidarity with the heroes of Fitzwalkerstan!

The Koch Brothers, just like Scott Walker, are a fraud. The only “prosperity” they support is their own, and definitely not that of working people. They don’t support “private enterprise” at all, either; the only enterprise they support is KOCH enterprise. These phony, greedy bastards should be fined the highest amount permissible by law for their repeated attempts to buy out the Wisconsin electoral system!
When’s the “perp walk” for the Kochs? I want to make sure I don’t miss it on tv.

Are there any left with enough balls to investigate and carry through with any prosecution found indicated ? What makes the Cocks willing to brag so openly ?

The next question is will there be other politicians bought off by the Kochs? It seems that there is no limit to the number of those politicians, U.S. Congress, the House, Department Heads, whose job it is to enforce the various laws. And, the Kochs know where to spend their billions if they choose to buy any or all of them because there are many of them for sale.
There are already Dana. Look at ALEC where the Koch’s participate along with state and federal law makers. What about the clandestine weekend in California I think, where Republican/Teabaggers were invited for fund raising purposes and to hear the diatribes of various Republican/Teabagger politicians? And then there is the Koch orchestrated segregation of the Wake county, NC school system that was finally derailed by a vote, after it had been implemented.
Other politicians are certainly bought and paid for. One thing that concerns me, when the Democrats win back the Congress and various state governments, will the Kochs try to go after Democrats. Just when the Democrats were hoping to be rid of the infuence of DINOs, there could be a whole new crop!

Cutting off Walker’s Koch is appropriate retribution for his castration of Wisconsin’s working class.
Very well put Jerry! That’s for Walker, but the Kochs still need to be held accountable too with appropriate penalties — like life in solitary confinement!
I’m wondering how long it will take Scott Walker to ‘rollover’ on the Kochs? He has been caught talking to ‘David Koch’ aka a Daily Beast reporter about various ideas and plans for the obliteration of democracy in Wisconsin. He is on the ropes, but not yet down as far as I know, for crimes and excesses while the County Executive, and certainly linked to some nasty looking characters. Last I heard, the recall had enough verified signatures to authorise the calling of an election, although I haven’t heard the actual date announced yet.
It is time to cut those puppet strings, burn the puppet (not literally) and put an end to the puppet master’s activities.
