Another Faux Noise Whopper

It isn’t hard to understand why national studies have determined that people who get their news from the Republican Ministry of Propaganda, aka Fox, are more poorly informed that people with no access to news of any kind.  Perhaps the reason is that, any time the truth fails to set a good beat for goose-stepping, they make up whatever imitation truth will suit their propaganda needs.  Recent economic reports have been good for America, and therefore bad for the Republican Party.  Leave it to Faux Noise to make up a whopper to cover-up the truth.

FoxPropSeveral Fox News co-hosts on Wednesday continued to suggest that there may be a conspiracy to increase President Barack Obama’s chances at re-election by manufacturing better-than-expected employment numbers.

“What does the good economic news — if you believe these numbers — mean for President Obama’s fortunes?” asked co-host Brian Kilmeade… Carlson explained. “And I guess, guys, that kind of makes sense because some of the numbers that we have been reporting: unemployment has gone down, more jobs have been created.”…

…“Now, you can argue about how those numbers — some people say — are fabricated,” she added.

FoxSheepLast week, co-hosts on the same morning show implied the Obama administration was “cooking the books” when it came to the improving employment numbers.

There is no evidence, however, that the Department of Labor has been fabricating employment figures.

The department gathers unemployment data with a monthly poll called the Current Population Survey (CPS). The sample is representative of the entire nation, comprised of 110,000 individuals, or 60,000 participating households split by geographic region. The bureau says their methodologies eliminate the potential for a wide margin of error to significantly distort the overall unemployment outlook. [emphasis added]

Inserted from <Raw Story>

Hard as it to believe, they are labeling the exact same report that Republicans have repeatedly used to support their criticism, in months when the Republican recession was even more severe, and now they claim that the report is bogus.  Sad as it is to believe, I’m seeing this repeated, so sheeple are buying the lie.

  1. If the numbers support Pres. Obama, they say the “books are cooked”. Conversantly, when they make him look bad, the numbers support their reasoning that he is no good for the country. There is no consistency to anything the say except they are always wrong.

Makes sense to any RepublicanT with their little brains.

  2. TomCat,
I’m glad YOU have the stomach to watch the liars on Fox “News” on occasion, because I sure don’t! BLEECCCHHHH!!!!

  3. With Faux, it’s impossible to tell if they’re lying – or just making $hit up.

  4. Maybe I am dense , but it seems to me that anyone with the brain of a gnat can see that FOX is pure garbage  by watching one show—that is if it can be stomached– they lie constantly— a fun thing to do– turn off sound and just watch the body language and posturing—more fun than a silent movie , and very telling, watch how they try to control body language —

  5. I’m guessing the only idiots repeating this tripe were prone to wanting to believe it. The national poll averages suggest that we see through it.

And we do; there is a noticeable uptick round these parts. What I see with my own eyes, cannot be denied.

  6. “Another Faux Noise Whopper” — All I had to do is read the title and the first thing out of my mouth was “Don’t people know how to ask questions and discern truth from lies?”.  Then I read the article and my question was spot on.  My first question would have been “What’s your source?”  and my second would have been “What was your source when talking about the recession when it was more severe?”  It is as easy as that!  Give me some song and dance, which I would expect since Faux Noise’s talking heads are idiots, and I will tell you that you are lying!

Patty, I would disagree with you on one point — they are consistent.  They always lie!

Faux Noise, the Republican Department of Propaganda is an assault on anyone with an active brain.  A few days back, I described a woman I knew that sat in church just wanting to be fed, not having to do any kind of thinking.  Sitting and receiving pre-digested information like a mother bird gives her hatchlings.  That is the profile of a Faux Noise proponent!

  7. Faux is the source for people who choose not to think.

  8. Now we know George Bush was a Sheep (cheap) “F-er” Shame on you George Bush.

  9. Is that George Bush’s “Don’t ask , Don’t Tell” advertisement?
