Well, I don’t smoke and I don’t drink so those are out. I am going to try to increase the amount of water I drink from 2 litres per day to 3-4 litres, none of in tea or in coffee which I am allegic too. It is really good for everybody. I also want to learn more about politics, both Canadian and American, and help others understand through my online posts.

I did make my first New Years resolution in 2010. It was to lose weight. It even worked. I went from 180 to 115 pounds. All it cost was the removal of my spleen and my pancreas.

My last New Year’s resolution was the only one I’ve kept.  I resolved to make no more New Year’s Resolutions.

The new poll is up.

  1. Well, after seeing the recent article about ALEC and seeing Coca-Cola on it, I said in my comments that I would be giving up diet Coke.  So I have given it up which will help my original resolution — I’ll drink more water.  I should also lose weight but I gave up on that one years ago.

Because I am home so much right now having been unemployed for over 2 years, it is easy to get down on yourself.  So I decided that I would look at myself in the one and only mirror in the house each morning, say “Hi girl!  Have a good day!” and wave to myself.  I’ll either collapse in fits of laughter drawing the attention of my immediate neighbours, or I’ll stop doing it.  I like my neighbours but I don’t give a rat’s ass if they think I’m nuts, and the only ones that would actually see me are my fur kids, and they already know I’m nuts but they love me none the less.  If you hear too much laughter coming from the west coast north of the 49th, you’ll know it is me!

    • Lynn, you haven’t been smoking the Republicans’ InsaniTEA, have you? 😉

      • Told you, I don’t smoke.  It’s too hard on my asthma!  And no, I didn’t drink any Republican InsaniTea either!  What, do you think I’m crazy?!?

  2. I hope Fred Lemon is doing OK.  His Comment has me concerned for his health.

    • Me too Nameless.  I said prayers for him last night.  I don’t know him but I lost a step-brother last year after having his pancreas and I believe his spleen removed due to cancer.
